Good luck on your sweet potatoes! I planted a few slips a couple of weeks ago, I'm not sure what variety. I grew my slips from last year's sweet potatoes I got from an Amish friend.

Thank you! This is my first year doing this many. I’ve only dappled with a few plants here and there, always missing the opportunity to get slips. Last year I grew my own slips but they didn’t do well 🤔 Here’s to us both having a nice sweet potato harvest!

I dry them for 2weeks. I don’t bother with braiding or anything fancy. I keep them in a basket in pantry

How deep do you plant it? I want to grow some rows of veges potatoes, onions, cabbage, carrots zucchini, lettuce. A row with some garlic and a few other herbs. I need a plow will you message me to show me the best plow other than an oxen and yoke?😅Thank you! You are awesome!

Hi! I plant 6” deep. Are you speaking of plow to prepare the garden (tilling) or plow to get up the potatoes? We do use a potato plow to get them up. We till and cultivate with tractor to set rows.

Love this so much. Never in a million years did I think that I will be home with kids after two degrees. And no one ever told me that it is ok to choose family over career. Some days it is hard but so worth it. ❤
