I liked the music in the show. I think a small section of Duel of the Fates would have been really effective. The ‘Fate’ referred to in the title is that of Anakin; that applies to Jinn and Kenobi v Maul, Yoda vs Sidious, and it would have certainly applied here. Until Luke grows up, this is pretty much where his fate is sealed. There’s no one left who could bring him back now. The sweet spot is somewhere between this and the actual show. I like Natalie’s score but it was a little light on the classic themes we know, considering the central relationships we’re following.

I feel like the conversation at the end of this duel is just as good as the fight it’s self. The way akakin’s voice merges and splices with Vader’s is masterful editing. I genuinely feel like that 1 minute conversation is the best thing Disney Star Wars has produced, even though it was in a mid tier show.
