New mounting bracket : www.hubauer-shop.de/en/carparts/i-models-parts-catalog/i3-meg/

Greetings ... Great video.. it happens to many people, and BMW has not done anything about it... Service stations take a lot of money from people for that work because the car's warranty has expired... I have questions.. Where did you buy the part?? (I know there is an improved version as well) What is the condition of the other engine mounts? I'm getting ready to modify the engine mounts on our car.. I bought glue that turns into strong flexible rubber.. I will glue the cracks that have started... and I will glue a bigger tire around to get the same effect as on that bracket you showed (more tires and less stretching) I see that they are filled with oil... I think that they could also be filled with this rubber-glue... to get strength... I don't believe that it will affect the vibrations much, especially the rear wheels. Maybe at least try...

Thank you! I bought the part in the online shop: www.hubauer-shop.de/en/carparts/i-models-parts-catalog/i3-meg/ You must compare the part numbers because there is a version with a thicker mounting screw. For now, the remaining mounts are ok - 120 K per clock. You can experiment with the glue, but I don't believe you can glue it. The power of the motor is huge if you push pedal to metal. I have seen polymer replacements but no experience. The oil fill could be to achieve a softer vibration reduction with a harder rubber shell. If the whole part were a solid monolith, then the vibration of the motor would be more noticeable and every pedal to metal beat would be audible. But keep do experiments and let know the results😊

With which torque did you tighten the big screw? And do you have to support the engine in 2 places?
@BMIKE999Ай бұрын
With E20 socket. Support for motor only in 1 place gently rised.

Thank you for this! Very helpful. Fyi for anyone else here, those pipes on the 2021 model have different bends to keep them well spaced apart, so that may have been one of the design changes in the LCI update (facelift) for 2018-2019.

How about metal? Is it good for metal ?
@BMIKE9993 ай бұрын
For small metal work, yes, because it is quite accurate with a straight rotor. If it is planned to drill large metal parts, it is possible that the aluminum work plate may be damaged if the part is large and heavy.

Like your video. Got the metabo because it was on special. The head movement on your metabo sounds like old bed springs that had seen to much action. Like you I don't like the startup of the saw. It is a jarring experience, probably a shortcoming in the electric motor design requiring a large inrush current. Your saw reminds me of the Rambo movie where they got Rambo tied to a metal bedframe giving him electric shocks. Maybe a little silicone spray on the spring(s) might alleviate some of your noise issues. Happy to report that mine is quiet and the fence is also straight. Also found that the head is solid without any wiggle and tightening the handle does not reproduce the wiggle on the needle you are getting. Extending the wings gave me the same problem that it is no longer square with the cutting table. Using some sort of shim on the wings might fix the problem. (The wings can be removed in pressed into each other to form a box to support longer project pieces). The LED light saw dust problem should benefit from cutting it a gasket to keep the dust out. The big question, did your saw take a knock you are not aware of or is it wear and tear?

One of the commenters wrote that he also had a bent part of the stop. I admit that this is the weak point of this saw and it wears out over time.

So do you think the mitre gauge is not for professionals then?
@Fbi_2023 Жыл бұрын

There are a lot of jigs you can make to improve every table saw. This table saw is professional and is excelent. It can be set up to be super accurate. It is not less accurate than any other even more expensive table saw.
@pgtips424010 ай бұрын
Wrong. The guy has made a point. If Bosch cannot be bothered machining a mitre gauge to fit the slot of their own saw then this is a poor show. They would be better not including a mitre gauge at all because beginners will use this to cut angles and experience a terrible kick back and injury due to the play. Yes you can improve it with a jig, the guy is not disputing that, what he is saying the default situation is that the current mitre gauge is dangerous. People will have already been hurt by this flaw I have absolutely no doubt about this. I will say this though, all the manufacturers are the same! They all make rubbish wiggly mitre guages. This should not be happening. If they make a product they should engineer is properly, especially something as lethal as a table saw. This tool is the king of accidents. It has claimed more fingers and hands than any other tool. It's absolutely terrible that these manufacturers get away with doing this.
@slobodanbajovic554010 ай бұрын
@@pgtips4240 No, You san not say that table saw is not good only because of the mitre gauge. There are a lot of more expensive table saws with mitre gauge similar to this. Even this mitre gauge is not unusable, but every professional make a lot of diferent jigs for his table saw for different cuts in order to be more precise. The same is for cross cuts, professionals don't use mitre gauge which is coming with the table saw, and this is the case for almost all table saws.. So this table saw is not the best one, but it can be set to be as accurate as anyone else..
@thePavuk Жыл бұрын
Still... best in the price range. There is no alternative in range to 500 Euro that is better. But that table is weird, seems quality went down in last year or two. Gauge is replaceable.

Wie talk about a 350€ saw? Is there any in these price area what’s rly, professional?
@johnnyshinnichi1785 Жыл бұрын
Exactly Martin. All companies exagerate the quality of their products. No one with any sense would think a saw costing this little could be truly professional.
