I think every native Brit is currently pretty restless what’s being done to our once beautiful land through mass, unwanted 3rd world immigration. Our political class has betrayed every one of us.

Ah Stuart....wish things had gone differently....wish you were still here weaving your magic.....lost count of how many times I have viewed this....miss you Big Man

Is that Will Ferrell on the cow bell? This is a great cover, it stays true to the original with a little Big Country flavor.

A couple of weeks a coworker drove me home cause the metro was on strike. He popped a cassette into the deck of his late 1980s Audi, said 'I recorded this tape last night, thought you might like it'. Boy was he right!

Man. If you played a sample of Big Country and a sample of U2 in 1981 or '82 and asked 100 folks which group would be in residence in LV 40 years later and which group would be cherished nostalgically I'm sure 75 or more would say Big Country would have the 40 year career U2 would barely be playing county fairs.

This had to be built around Tony's bassline. If it wasn't then that makes his playing even more impressive.

The best the Skids ever did. Reminds me of December 1979 when it came out and poor Tony Soulster Blackburn had to play it in the Top 40 when he was averse to punk

‘Why the Long Face’ is such a criminally under rated album, even amongst Big Country fans I suspect. So many great songs and amazing, in places beautiful, lyrics. Difficult to pick a favourite track.

Brilliant cover and as others have said a great solo....Big Country led by Stuart Adamson deserve to be better remembered, always a great kind bloke with the fans was Stuart and such a shame how his life was tragically cut short as he had more to give.
