The first gun he held is Revision Zero, a primary exotic kinetic pulse rifle. Its perk allows you to build up to 4 extra piercing rounds on precision hits and kills. Also, it is intrinsically anti-barrier and craftable. Have fun!

This isn't a difficult GM, it's antagonistic. Because apparently cheese mechanics and health bars are easier to program than simply creating different tiers of increasingly complex enemy AI. Take Helldivers 2 for example, the higher difficulties don't need to add cheese mechanics like grab a stupid ball from a lava room, because their enemy AI is so well developed that literal groups of enemies will troll Inattentive players (ie punching in a code on a terminal and turning around to find yourself surround like 30 enemies who then nuke you). All they have to do to vastly ramp up difficulty is add a couple new enemy types you won't see on low levels and tick up the enemy spawn rates. Bungie, meanwhile, adds convoluted stand on some plates and unflinchable snipers and calls it difficult. Hence why Salvations Edge had 600+ clears popped off within 24 hours of the most convoluted mechanics being exposed.

Comparing Lash Wish 48hr completions to SE's 48hr completions is a little disingenuous. Yes there's been a lot of power creep and sandbox changes, but PLAYERS are also just a lot better. 6 more years of gameplay. Take a look at Vanilla WoW raids and how few people were able to clear those originally. Then 15 years later they're brought back in WoW Classic exactly as they were back then and people realize they're braindead/push-over encounters.
