Thinking of you. Sure miss you Fanny. Hope all is well. Pints of green beans and quarts of potatoes with green beans have become a canning favorite here. Canned corned beef and potatoes last week. I want more on the shelf but they don't have good sales here after St. Paddy's Day.

I thank you so much I dehydrate everything I can I don't have bok choy done and the food banks are really giving out boxes full of every veggies or they get tossed to the trash I'm amazed over so much free food. Our bills are paid and we're stress free. I've been cutting apple into tiny pieces and pear, and it's so great to have on hand for oatmeal and cookies. When you get food almost free to free take it.

how much clear gel to add to the beef broth???

I just spent over $800.00 at the vet b/c my dog's protein in his urine has increased and is the highest it's ever been (2.3) but the vet couldn't tell me why or how. I asked for suggestions on feeding amounts regarding protein b/c obviously I'm doing something wrong but she couldn't help. I have been feeding my 11yo beagle/dachshund 3oz of veal, lamb or ground turkey mixed with 4oz of Dr. Harvey's canine health pre-mix each meal. (he eats 3x a day, which I need to reduce to 2 meals). I add Welactin omega 3 to his food as well. I'm literally at my wits end with trying to figure this out and I've spent 1100 this month on my dog and no positive outcomes so far. If anyone can help with any suggestions, I'd appreciate it so much.

I’ve read that purée pumpkin is very high in sodium which is not good for dogs with kidney or heart disease. Curious if you use a low sodium pumpkin purée?

I would bet you have a camera on my kitchen and listening when I talk to myself. Just an hour ago after shutting down shop, I decided comfort food was in order. Another nice variety for all of your creative cooking. I shopped at Aldi yesterday for basic weekly needs. I nearly choked on the price of a dozen eggs @ $4.11. I picked up a few extra cans of condensed milk for the pantry but that’s about it🌲

Very good haul. I bought two bell peppers, Anaheim peppers, onions, oranges, celery, blueberries and strawberries to dehydrate. I also canned 13 pints of ground hamburger. I'm tired tonight. My age is getting to me. Stay safe, healthy and happy.
