Curious, you say you are like 220ish. What PSI do you run your tires at? I was running 36, heard people running 40+ and when I went to 40+ is when my tube issues happened. Well, both tubes now replaced, putting my damper on in next couple days (via a FB group friend of ours). Figure even if I'm not a high speed guy, it will still help in the bars shaking somewhat from road imperfections. Like and extra shock just for the handlebars...lol Anyway, curious of your tire pressure. I check my tire pressure before each ride, whether I'm e-biking or e-scootin'.

Mine also set at 36 psi. Ya it defiantly helps with that too because the roads here are terrible. I don't worry as much about that now.

@WyomingRider I was gonna get a klima since I love my sisters. She's had some issues with it but it's not as stable above 35mph and tops out at 37mph or governed. Yeah, it’s definitely probably the controller. They probably pushed that controller right to the edge to get that speed out of a 48 V battery. They’ve gotta be pushing the amps way up. Glad to hear they’re going to make good on it.

Thanks for watching Steve! I'm beginning to think it's the hot temps making the camera overheat. I might drop my recording down to 2k on the next video if it's hot out to see if the issue goes away. I've noticed it only seems to happen when I'm either not moving or moving fast enough to get good airflow across the camera.

Ya Wyoming is definitely eye-candy country. Jeff, being it's a cadence sensor, the first thing I'd try is to disconnect both of the brake sensors wires. Perhaps one is in "motor cut-off". Certainly worth a try. On the flip side, not sure if they need to be connected for motor to work. Since I gave away all my cadence sensor bikes, I can't test it, but to me, it's worth 2 minutes to test it. If one is sending a signal that the brake is active, it makes the motor inactive. Thought I'd offer that up in case you haven't tried it. Sure would be interested in what the issue is once you figure it out.
@WyomingRider
@WyomingRider 4 күн бұрын
Thanks so much for watching! Ya i did try unhooking the brake sensors later still no go. I'm working on my follow up video. They responded in a few minutes and started having me try stuff. It's looking like an issue with the controller or the motor wire on the controller side. It does something really strange I haven't seen before. If i unhook the motor cable plug the rear wheel turns freely in both directions. If the motor wire is hooked up it spins freely forward, but if you try and spin it backwards it doesn't want to turn. You can feel the motor fighting you like a couple of the phase wires are shorted together.
@NOWitsOKto
@NOWitsOKto 4 күн бұрын
@@WyomingRider sounding more like a motor issue. If you haven't already, I'd take the cover off the controller area and ensure all plugs are connected properly. Ok, on what you said about turning the rear wheel with the motor wired connected, but was that with power on or off, or have you tried it both ways. From the sound of that, I'm thinking the motor took a dive.
@WyomingRider
@WyomingRider 4 күн бұрын
@@NOWitsOKto This happens with the power on or off. I even took the controller out and completely disconnected it from everything but the motor and it does this. I then took an other one of my bikes and hooked the G100's motor to it since it has the same plug and it worked, but it was a little noisy. I then tried it in reverse hooked the other bikes motor to the Happyrun controller and it gets nothing. I did also try both throttle and using the cadence sensor, but nothing either way. This is the reason why I suspect it's the controller. Strange thing is too it gets no errors on the display if the motor is hooked up. If i disconnect it does of course. Could it be the FET's in the controller?
@NOWitsOKto
@NOWitsOKto 4 күн бұрын

When assembling, is there a trick to unfolding the handlebar stem? The instructions just say to pull the folding stem up by hand. Mine is locked up tight as a drum. Can't get it to budge to unfold it.
@WyomingRider
@WyomingRider 9 күн бұрын
Thanks for watching and your question. Unfolding should be easy all you should need to do is grab the top where it's attached to the handlebars are and stand it up in place and lock the handle. Folding it down on the other hand can be more difficult. Check and make sure there's nothing caught in the hinge or does it look bent or damaged?
