Oh, and one more thing...use it on an area where it has room enough around it. It won't be wavy if it has enough room to properly go through 😊 (I use my kitchen table and then put it back on a shelf when I'm done.)

@@katie7748 I figured that out after I recorded. 🤦🏻‍♀️ The rest of my recipes were beautifully flat. My 15 year old might be more excited than I was because he laminated everything I had laid out to get laminated. 😂 He reran the one from the video and it flattened it right out.

Oh, just a heads-up, use WET ERASE on laminated sheets. Dry erase can stain them. Learned that the hard way.

@@katie7748 thank you! I kind of had a feeling that was the case when I saw they specifically made ones for dry erase. I definitely want to sit down and make chore charts at some point but will probably end up feeling the urge to buy the dry erase laminating sheets first. Probably a lot of uses for them…even for making lists first like things we run out of that we need at the store.

How funny! A laminator is one of the first "supply" type items I bought. I've laminated flashcards, maps, all kinds of stuff. Also my husband's FedMed card (OTR trucker), our library cards (old school here so they're paper!), all kinds of non-school things. I absolutely love it! Happy Belated Birthday, by the way!

Time stamp 3:10 you said you can't photo-copy the pages. Why is That? If it is due to the size of the pages, there seems to be a lot of space on the left and right side of the information on the page. Just a matter of centering it on the copier. Do you guys have a copier at home?

@@ThePocketFullofArrows That is good that you follow the rules, but there is also the "Fair use" rule which is cover in law and there is also a "limited time" on Copyright material. If these books are being discontinued I really wouldn't worry about it. If you were going to resale the copies to the public then there would be a problem. Example: Think about when a kid or adult draws a picture from some other publication like a book, comic book or just another picture. Its for personal use, the courts really do not care as it is for personal use and it is covered under "Fair use" rule. ((Benjamin Franklin though he never patented any of his inventions. His reasoning is stated in his autobiography: That, as we enjoy great advantages from the inventions of others, we should be glad of an opportunity to serve others by any invention of ours; and this we should do freely and generously)). Of course the rules have change due to corporate greed. Anyway, I am rambling, your kids deserve the copies. Take care.

Hi so glad I found this video! We just purchased this course for my son. Curious to know if this was the only science you used ? Can we use it for the whole year?( we are still new to homeschooling and wanna do things different this year )

@ThePocketFullofArrows Ай бұрын
It’s the only science I used last year anyway. In the past I used whatever came in the family cycle from My Father’s World. It was good for a season, but I like having more freedom to choose what I think might work better for my kids instead of being bound to a boxed preset set of books for every subject. Granted, you can still do that with Masterbooks by getting a whole grade level at a time, but I feel there’s a lot more freedom and simplicity with Master Books. I hope all of that makes sense. I’m still in the process of waking up. 😂

I use Masterbooks for spelling out of the LLFLE. They give tips you can do in the back of book. I make mine last all week by.. 1st day of the lesson =Pre-Test 2nd Day= Memory Game with spelling words 3rd Day= Practice Test 4th Day= Spell words with letter Tiles 5th Day= Final Test on the words For handwriting this year we just used random workbooks that I had but next year I plan to use the new handwriting curriculum from Masterbooks that is supposed to release this Summer. Going to do one more year at least of Manuscript before we do cursive. I feel like my son needs more with Manuscript before cursive.

I’m so bad at looking in the back of the book. We’ve just used Reason For for so long and it works that it’s definitely a preference. Plus with the ones that have struggled with reading sometimes the words can be a bit too advanced and frustrating for those kids. I may have to pay more attention to the back LLFLE in the future for my kids that haven’t struggled as much. Thanks for the info.

When a blinker is out it usually means a blown fuse. Under the steering column you should find a little opening where the fuses are. There will be numbers on them. You can go to Auto Zone or O'Reilly's or even Walmart get a pack of fuses and just pull the old one out and replace with new one. Or its a light bulb socket. Your manual in your glove compartment will have an index.

😂 I'm guessing this video was recommended because I've been looking at home gyms tour videos lately 😅 My home gym is really basic, some resistance bands, the X3 bar system and a pull up tower. I use ankle straps for anchoring points on the pull up tower. No need to damage my door and frame or drill into the inner wall wood frame. I can now go extra heavy using my tower. And I use my dumbbells to hold down the pull up tower for some pulling exercises using the bands. Anyways, I've made some amazing gains and hit every muscle. I'm done with regular weights, but been thinking about a functional trainer machine from Costco as well.

Super easy. I do 1/2 cup of rolled oats, 1/2 cup of unsweetened original almond milk, 1/4 cup of zero fat Greek yogurt. 2 and a quarter tsp sugar substitute (I like Pyure), 2 and a quarter tsp of chia seeds, 1 and a half tsp maple extract. Stir it all up and add a handful of frozen strawberries. Pop the lid on and put it in the fridge. I just break up the strawberries with a spoon in the morning when I go to eat it.

For the omelet cups it’s basically anything you like in an omelet diced up (I do a quarter of an onion and 1/4 f a bell pepper for 8 cups) and mixed with one less egg than the amount of cups you’re making. Add a splash of half and half or cream. Mix it up…pour in silicone liners (they stick horribly to paper) top with cheese of your choice, bake at 375 for 15-18 minutes. I also put bacon in them because my husband loves bacon…and I add a little pepper. If you don’t use bacon you will want a couple of pinches of salt.

That looks like a high hydration dough, I've never tried one as it is so humid where I'm at. Even my 75% starts to flatten out if I don't toss it into the oven fast. A big cast iron 2 piece set works well also instead of a Dutch oven, it's just more clunky to use. Have fun with your sourdough journey!
