What a rort! Mate I know the 4wd industry went silly with pricing over covid, but you’ve gotta be kidding. There’s not 30k there. I’m happy to price the sucker out with you. You’ve listed the options in the website. Great little unit! Thoughtful design, wonderful for a single person or couple, but seriously. Sandwich panels aren’t expensive, nor is labour in South Africa.

Concept is nice But cannot see the price justifying what you get. I mean, even if it was an "offroad" version (which it is not) the price is still high for what you get. No offence but that's how I see it.
@4WheelingInNSW4 күн бұрын
No offence taken mate, each to their. Everyone likes and wants something different I guess. Yes they made not be the cheapest out there however I couldn’t argue with the build quality. I like. It to like a Mercedes v a Hyundai i30. Both cars but different quality. And if you look at any other brand of similar build quality in that hybrid / crossover van market, they’re all very similarly priced. There are plenty of cheaper ( and larger ) vans out there however I think the quality may also be significantly cheaper too and their longevity could be questioned. Thanks for watching and for your feedback mate, I sincerely appreciate it, cheers 👍
@BT_life222 сағат бұрын
@@4WheelingInNSWbut they’re not. Mercedes vs Hyundai-they have differences in major components. You do not. You’ve finished off speculating at other vans quality & longevity. Honestly, creating a sealed sleeping unit should not be a difficult task.

Sorry to hear about yur dog mate. Always hard when a member of the family goes even if it is a furry member. Gaia GPS is a brilliant app. So much better than some navigation units you pay big bucks for, VMS cough cough... Marrangaroo is a cracking spot too, we stayed there over Easter and it was amazing. Always grubs leaving rubbish mate but those claws work a treat especially when trying to save the back. Smokey Manuka is delicious but I found the same thing, they go hard and are difficult to use. I had to rip the top off the container to break it up. Shame about the clowns with the fireworks. Recording on the way out can grab a number plate and the boys in blue could have fun with it. It’s actually a lot bigger on the flesh than what shows on camera. The big advantage with this style or type of van is that it’s not ridiculously oversized. It’s light weight and easy to tow and you’re not dragging a 3 tonne Taj Mahal behind you with every conceivable item out of your house. They’re a great setup for a couple touring the country. Thanks for watching and for the feedback, I'm always interested in what other gear others use out there. I actually grabbed this one purely for boiling water as 99% of my cooking I do on the camp fire. So the extra $100 cost for the bigger brands wasn't worth it for me. I do have another head for my butane cans which will easily sit a kettle or saucepan should the need ever arise however I've not yet ever used it for cooking. Usually when we're out and about and touring the bush, it's the speed of boiling a cuppa that won me over with these little beauties. It the price and quality are comparable then yes, choose Australian made. Anything short of that though and we encouraging overpriced, low quality crap local manufacturing. We, Australians, are not incapable of dodgy brothers business - there are a few examples around of such poor corporate behaviour that have been publicised over the past couple of years.

Thanks mate, I sincerely appreciate the comments and feedback. I like your way of thinking too mate. I've often thought, while editing, how much do I include and exclude and 9 times out of 10 think I will leave "that bit" in as I hope this will genuinely help out others. And leaving in the thought process helps others to think outside the box. It's no good if I show a super quick install of something that took an entire day - it creates unrealistic expectations for others and just leads to disappointment and frustration. So thank you mate, I really appreciate your comments and viewing. 👍👍👍 Cheers mate P.S - keep watching as I have a walkthrough video to follow and I've added something else further for practicality and use that you may enjoy.
