The Church of Scientology is very lawsuit-happy, so the dev saying it was only a generalized critique probably only did so to avoid dealing with them.

Simon Peter had nothing to do with the Roman Catholic Church? If he is their first pope, why did the Roman emperor Nero kill him?

According to the Historians and Archaeologists, till 325 AD Christianity was spread around the trade routes from Eastern Europe to the Arabian gulf. However, between 52 AD to 1523 AD why not a single or small church have been built, even after Muslim invasions, Hindu temples were being constructed. Guys please don’t be get offended, I would like to clear my doubts. In my opinion, British / Portuguese during the invasion, they made false stories for converted Christians that Brahmanas killed their St Thomas to provoke against them same as Aryan stories to separate north and south, which proved wrong by recent DNA test.

I don’t know how Thomas was preaching in Aramaic or Hebrew language to Malayalam people. There was an ancient silk route from China east to Europe west through which north Indian was trading as well. Even North Indian doesn’t know Hebrew language then how he went southern leaving Northern Indians. Strange, intellectually doesn’t fits.

I truly miss good milds. And ……. the use of the word bitter. We knew where we stood with beers, back then. Now it’s all amber, ruby and golden, etc. Even iconic Tetley’s has dropped it all but some small text of ‘bitter’ on their cans.

None of Jesus' brothers were His disciples during Jesus' earthy ministry. That is clear from the Gospel of John John 7:5 - For neither did his brethren believe in him. So, James, son of Alpheus isn't Jesus's brother. I know people like James Tabor and Robert Eisenman keep spewing this tripe but it's false teaching. I happen to know that James Tabor doesn't know half the New Testament and the other half that he does know, he doesn't believe. So he's as reliable as that joker in Rome.

Although I'm not convinced they're fake it seems unusual to say the least that they were found in 1946/47 same time period that the state of Israel was set up. Was it to be seen as "proof" that Israel had a claim to Palestine. Let's face it some people are not above such underhanded means.

FAKE, the same experts who say the ones held at the Israeli museum are REAL, also state that the ones in private collections are FAKE. The Greek Septuagint is the oldest, obviously an attack on Christianity.

There was a flourishing Jewish diaspora on the Malabar coast (present-day Kerala) and trade routes for spices existed thru which ships of Romans and Greeks came from time immemorial. So Indian coast is not unfamiliar for the West Asians

Great summary video-thank you! Do you think there is any significance to the number 114 in the ancient world? The Shepherd of Hermas has 114 chapters, the Gospel of Thomas has 114 secret sayings of Jesus, and the Quran has 114 chapters. Seems odd, but then again all coincidences do.

I just find it weird that paul calls james john and peter the pillars of the church And the gospels are clear that the three special apostles were james john and peter Yes supposedly we're talking about two different james? Could brother of our lord simply be a title? Why don't we have a conversion story if this james is the brother of jesus? James, the brother of jesus met jesus and told him to shut up that he lost his mind So this enemy of the fate becomes the leader of the faith And yet there's no story about his conversion Paul was previously an enemy of the faith. But we have a conversion story of how jesus changed his mind James just magically shows up as the leader.

Always thought dark n mild was a term for barley wine and heavy breaded malti beers but mosty a term for barley wine often being the mild version of whiskey which also was a heavy barley mash bill in the late 1800s and early 1900s incomparison to the corn, rye, barley and wheated bourbons and whiskies of today. Seems like a broad term for dark bready beers and barley wines in this day n age everything from porters to imperial stouts and everything between that range.
