Thankyou for your video. I kinda had the same response as you in regards to the c15 supplement. Follow the money and you might see where this goes. I , too, would hope that c15 is the "miracle pill" but why pay more than $100 for one bottle of c15 when you can get c15 via a balanced diet?

++ here, but I dont have excess dopamine levels. Far from it, my levels are super low and my prolactins are subsequently sky high. I have a pituitary tumour which is possibly causing the hormone imbalance. But hope to regulate my dopamine with the intention of getting my pituitary functioning better. Mentioned in your list of things i should try is magnesium glycinate, magnesium l-threonate, fosfatydyloseryna, but there was two other supplements mentioned? Couldnt quite work out what they were. Appreciate if anyone could let me know. Thank you

Please don’t say it’s not necessary. Say it might not be IF you can eat those foods. I’m reactive to dairy (the better the quality, the more reactive), allergic to beef and lamb, can’t eat nightshades, so many of those are OUT. I also eat very little. So taking it as a supplement is a good way to ensure I get what I need. And it has made an obvious difference in my health over 6 months.

@@addictivewellness I left out one of the most C15:0 Rich foods and easiest to take. Whole milk. 8 ounces of whole milk has 290 mg of C15:0!! The people selling C15:0 as a supplement are scamming everyone. If you eat a normal amount (what used to be a normal amount) of meat and dairy, you will never be deficient. However, this does seem to put to rest the idea that Omega-3 is the be all/end all of Gary acids supplementation. Without reading it more carefully, the articles I've read on PubMed imply that if you get enough C15:0 you can skip Omega-3 (fish oil) supplementation entirely. But don't quote me. I haven't read it thoroughly enough to be certain that's what it said. Besides, why would you take the word of a stranger on KZfaq giving you health advice without confirming it yourself? That's just crazy!

Should you supplement with C:15 or can you get enoughfrom yourcarnivore diet? " Studies suggest that both dietary intake and supplements of C15:0 can have positive effects on metabolic health, including anti-inflammatory properties, improved lipid profiles, and potential benefits for insulin sensitivity. Example: A study comparing the intake of C15:0 from dairy versus supplements found that both methods improved health markers, but the dietary group also benefited from other positive changes in their diet such as increased intake of other essential nutrients." Practical Considerations: • Diet: Incorporating foods rich in C15:0 like dairy and beef can enhance overall nutrition. • Supplements: Useful for those who need a targeted approach to increase C15:0 intake without changing their diet significantly. Creating a carnivore diet menu that offers at least 800 mg of C15:0 (pentadecanoic acid) can be achieved by focusing on foods high in saturated, fatty acids. Below is a sample menu designed to meet this requirement: Breakfast - **Scrambled Eggs with Butter**: - **3 large eggs**: ~0.15g (150mg) of C15:0 - **2 tablespoons of butter (28g)**: ~0.21g (210mg) of C15:0 - **Total for breakfast**: ~0.36g (360mg) of C15:0 Lunch - **Ribeye Steak**: - **1 pound (453.6g)**: ~0.73g (730mg) of C15:0 Snack - **Cheddar Cheese Slices**: - **4 slices (112g)**: ~0.47g (470mg) of C15:0 Dinner - **Ground Beef Patties (80-20)**: - **2 patties (total 1 pound or 453.6g)**: ~0.36g (360mg) of C15:0 - **Sour Cream**: - **4 tablespoons (48g)**: ~0.08g (80mg) of C15:0 Summary of C15:0 Intake - **Breakfast**: 0.36g (360mg) - **Lunch**: 0.73g (730mg) - **Snack**: 0.47g (470mg) - **Dinner**: 0.36g (360mg) + 0.08g (80mg) = 0.44g (440mg) - **Total**: 2.00g (2000mg) ### Detailed Breakdown: - **Butter**: High in C15:0, use it generously in cooking. - **Ribeye Steak**: A rich source of C15:0 due to its fat content. - **Cheddar Cheese**: A convenient snack to boost C15:0 intake. - **Ground Beef (80-20)**: Provides a good balance of protein and C15:0. - **Sour Cream**: Adds extra C15:0 and can be used as a topping. By following this menu, you will consume approximately 2000 mg of C15:0, well above the target of 800 mg. Adjust portion sizes as needed to fit individual dietary needs and preferences. This menu ensures that you get a significant amount of C15:0 through a variety of high-fat animal products, consistent with a carnivore diet approach." Source: ChatGPT.

Pecorino Cheese has as high amounts of C 15 as Durian fruit. So I guess eating Pecorino cheese in small servings each day would be enogh to keep the C 15 suppliments away which by the way are very expensive.

I think discovering the health benefits of C-15 while saving Dolphins from dietary insufficiencies and creating a supplement to remedy the health deficit is totally BRILLIANT! Producing and marketing Fatty 15 (C-15 Pentadecanoic supplement) is a sound business choice, and working toward increasing the availability of this difficult-to-get-from-food, essential fatty acid is exceptionally Philanthropic..What better a mission than to take what one believes in to support you life, improve the health of others, fund your cause and make it availiable to the public while working toward getting it into the food supply… Our currently, severely deficient food supply needs help! The Gov needs to catch up before they allow our planet to become unsustainable to human life! Too many people are currently in health crisis due to foolish medical/governmental dietary recommendations, medical guidelines etc! In fact, the Gov supports, benefits financially from and allows the production of forever chemicals, toxins, shoddy unhealthy, poisonous ingredients to be made into food! They allow known toxins and carcinogens to be used with abandon AND to be marketed for great profit (with rarely any philanthropic ideals considered) to be consumed by the public?? Children?? People of all ages?? All walks of life?? Now that’s criminal as it all leads to suffering, disease, death of humans and of all living on earth..the food chains are broken, many destroyed, extinction has gone out of control..soil is a living thing…that is often killed by chemical and used to grow produce & fodder, devoid of essential nutrients.. All these diseases and toxic pharmaceuticals are running the economy. I found, researched, bought and have been taking Fatty 15 for nearly 3 months and just reordered because it’s helping me heal! My supplementation & diet have been pretty amazing for 9 years, but recovery from brain/body trauma that happened 2 years ago has been notable over the last few months…go figure

Just wanted to say that 1/2 cup of butter provides 880 mg of C15. I eat a primarily carnivore diet so beef, lamb, tallow, and lots of butter. I think Im covered!!! Thank you so much for this information. I was considering buying this supplement, but it looks like I've been "supplementing" with it for the last few years! Also wanted to say, I think it's always better to get as much nutrition from natural foods. I'm not knocking supplements, but often the nutrients within a certain food will work in synergy together, whereas stripping that food of one nutrient and taking only that can be less effective.

Stephanie Venn-Watson published several studies that are still ongoing and what she and her physician husband found that is that C15:0 Pentadecanoic acid is a new essential fatty acid. Our bodies need it but doesn't make it. She specifically advised that only sheep and goat milk products from mountainous regions would be an effective dietary source. Regular whole dairy milk contain inflammatory elements and don't provide enough pure C15.
