I’m sure they got it tested. I’ve gotten my walls & ceilings tested multiple times and it’s super easy (fast turn around) and inexpensive to do. None have ever come back with asbestos 🙏🏼

SuperPaint flat shows scars if your elbow for example drags the wall. Benjamin Moore flat doesn't. The darker the base the more SuperPaint fails

Thanks. You have at least caused me to pause on Duration. I still prefer Benjamin Moore products however, so will probably stick with theirs.

Some contractors told me they will use a roller and some said they will spray on my aluminum siding, which do you recommend? One contractor said you have to thin the paint for a sprayer?

We always spray aluminum siding, but we wouldn't thin the paint. You only need to use the appropriately sized tip for smooth application. The most important thing about painting aluminum siding is appropriately cleaning the surface beforehand. Hope that helps!

@@kjl6138 Duration is a great product! We use it on aluminum siding all the time. It is best to spray aluminum siding. It does not need to be back. rolled. The finish will look nicer if you spray it. Most products will have instructions for using a sprayer. That being said, I would not thin Duration if I was spraying aluminum siding.

I got it cheaper at about $60/gal compared to Emerald at about $75 at the SW store and they are on sale many times. I've used both lines and found them to be excellent, applying very well and holding up great. They are my go-to paints.

I used bright white Emerald egshell on my newly installed tongue and grove ceiling (primed pine)... came out very well and I could not be happier. Two coats. I also use the Duration line on the walls and it too is excellent.

Listen fellas. I use a backpack sprayer filled with water. Mist on a liberal coat over the surface you want to remove. Let it sit for about 15 minutes and come back with a 12” mud knife and it falls off like butter.
