I wanted some really great bright fletching. I used "blaze green". They were great, but I couldn't get near any deer. At the end of the season I discovered that White Tails see very well in the ultra violet spectrum and when I hit these with black light, unlike standard colors, these lit up like search lights!😟

Luv your videos but haven’t seen anything new in quite a while thought. Because of your videos I’ve purchased a satori knockoff until I can find the right deal on a real one. However I feel even though I luv nothing more then a custom wood bow I feel the feel of the weight/grip/versatility of an ILF is gonna be key to me shooting better. I have a basic wooden recurve currently and find it to light even with quiver full of arrows. Besides being able to change the limbs simple and quick to suit your needs is a huge Bennie. We are required to have #35 min in my state and my recurve is currently pulling #47 so #35 would be great for turkey but would like #50+ for moose and u stringing and snapping different limbs on would be great compared to buying new bow!!!

GREAT GROUP! I really like watching arrows in flight so I fletched my arrows with a Very bright chartreuse feathers. They really were bright. Throughout the season I kept seeing big white tails waving bye-bye even though I was using excellent ASAT camouflage. Then, I remembered that Whitetail Deer see well in the UV spectrum. So, I put samples of different fletched arrows in a closet, screwed in a UV bulb, and threw the switch. All colors became drab except the Bright Chartreuse which lit up like a Christmas tree!! 😱

How do you adjust the tiller? I just picked one up but there is no info on how to adjust even though it came with the wrench and allens. Stock measurements for I'm getting a reversed tiller. (bottom limb longer till than top)

Nice Video, always enjoy them. I switched to trad vanes this season. Harvested 3 does, 2 nice racks, 2 pigs and a 6x5 elk this season all on hard hunted public with my #75lb carbon widow PCH. 2 of the deer were on alert and one I had to stop. I video all my hunts, used to video for Louisiana Sportsman. Many dozens of old videos of deer and pigs ducking hard as the arrow approached left me often very frustrated, yet this season the animals pretty much stood in place or hardly moved until the arrow got there but I was blessed with a lot of closer shots this season. I've been very impressed and the fact that mud wipes off when I fall and no worries with rain and wet feathers which is often the case in Louisiana and Colorado hunts has me sold. Blew through a lot animals and they are fairly durable though a tad difficult to glue perfectly. 4x 2.7 inch for me. My buddies 3 inch banana cuts were always more quiet than my shield cut I used to use. I agree those carbon widows are so quiet. I have over a dozen recurves and nothing comes close to as quiet for me. Got a new shorter carbon one getting built now. Also got a "silent but deadly" string on the widow. Still feathers are downright a cooler more traditional look imo.

Good review. I’ve got or had most of the “high end” hang ons out there, but I’m always eyeing this stand. Before “mobile” hunting was cool I was packing the other version that’s the full chair around on public. Can’t beat the comfort of a millennium. I may have to pick one of these up for the price.

Good Review. Satori from what I've seen... is a little on the spendy side.. Near 1,000 $ if you include tax and maybe shipping. I have some Satori limbs I use on a different ILF riser. But IF your not bone set on Hoyt... Tbow from Amazon.... runs about $200. A Satori China Clone. Personally I like Hoyt products... I have the Tiburon and a Formula Olympic Riser with Carbon limbs. and of course the 1 set of ILF Satori limbs... thinking about another set for another riser I have. Hoyts limbs for the Satori... are rated on the 21" riser.. you have to figure a +2lbs.. for 17" and 15" is +4 lbs. Hoty is top shelf ... as good as you can buy.!

@hooversoutdoors I prefer a bolt on quiver. But I have used strap on quivers before. I see that 3 Rivers Archery offers a 17" ILF wood riser with inserts for $269.00 For the price difference I can buy a good strap on quiver which makes more sense.
