When I turned 18 years old looking back 2 years later I left my hometown to start my life over again. A journey I would never forget. I bought a one way plane ticket to Colorado, and I have lived here for about 2 years now. From a hometown back in New York to which I was familiar with I traveled across the Country to pursue my own life. What a great feeling it was. The Rocky Mountains are beautiful, and i had experienced new moments.

Its incredible how different yet similar a trip to Peru can be. I flew into Lima and explored the city, and did a 4 day hike along the Inca trail to end up in Machu Picchu. Such a beautiful country and I didn't even know about those beautiful sand dunes.

We were discussing with my group of friends about traveling to a single country in South America. We're five office workers looking for a summer vacation destination and had narrowed it down to Peru and Colombia. Two of us were enthusiastic about Peru, while two others preferred Colombia. The debate lasted for half an hour, with some friends suggesting that Peru might be boring compared to Colombia's party and nightlife scene.(yes, the world today is very superficial) However, I've always been drawn to Peru because of an old photo of my father taken in the 90's at Machu Picchu. I've dreamed of visiting the 'city of clouds' since school, captivated by its stunning location atop green mountains. My father's stories about Cusco were wonderful, from walking "Aguas Calientes' to encountering grumpy yet tender llamas and alpacas, exploring the rivers, red valleys, and Incredible Rainbow Mountains! Everything was so magical that when we finally made it (yes, we won as Team Peru!), I can say that it was just as magical, or even more so, than my father's stories! Peru is a truly special place that I always recommend visiting. It's truly magical to see such a wonderful place - for me, it's the most beautiful place I've been to so far. Great video, bro, it touched my heart.
