ive been saving images in a "group chat" with no one else in it so i dont have to save them to my computer and can just copy paste them from there for about 4 years now. its a great idea if you dont want to save every image you want to keep

This is a cool solution that i do use with memes and random screenshots but anyone who is looking to do this long-term are better off getting an external hard drive or just pay for more cloud storage because what if Discord is down? or hell discord gets hacked? steals a bunch of data and on top of that im sure discord will at some point stop people from doing this.
