in the process of putting mine back together, any pointers??

From my notes: White --- Left Rear Turn Signal / Brake (Blue) Red --- Left Front Turn Signal (Yellow) Orange --- Right Rear Turn Signal / Brake (Orange) Green --- Right Front Turn Signal (Black) Blue --- Brake Light Switch (Brown) Black --- Flasher Terminal marked "L" Yellow --- Flasher Terminal marked "P" (Third flasher terminal marked "X" is for fused 12v input from ACC terminal on ignition switch) We also added a dedicated ground wire to this one to get the indicator light to work, just ground it to the bolt mounting it to the column.

As a side note, have you given any thoughts to rear view mirrors? Just a thought on my part.

I have a rearview mirror for it, I just have to trim the handgrip to mount it and havent gotten around to it yet!

So glad to see you wearing gloves. As a rider, every time I see someone riding without them, I cringe. Just wish people would realize that if you go down your natural instinct is to catch yourself and at that point your hands become road crayons. I have seen it on two occasions, and it is not pretty, no flesh on their palms. By the way I love the bike. Wish we were like Europe with people riding small displacement bikes. I live in Harley land and that is about all you see on the roads around here.
@JoeAdamsMediaАй бұрын
Thanks! I had the gloves on because it was around 40 degrees out when I took this ride, but I couldnt help myself and had to get out there. I need to be better about wearing gloves and a helmet though, I dont travel far on this, usually just around the neighborhood, but anything can happen.

@@JoeAdamsMedia we r contemplating a new 255. We use 2 have a 2320 Parker and it was a super rough ride in small chop so we might try 2 test drive a 255
@JoeAdamsMedia4 ай бұрын
@@yumyum408 they all kind of act that way since the cabin and helm are so far forward. But a deep v hull will cut through the chop better for sure.

very impressive ! 50% battery for 3h ? what is the speed for sports model ?
@JoeAdamsMedia6 ай бұрын
I was impressed. We weren’t constantly on the throttle for 3hours, but that was the length of our trip. Pretty impressive since we were on packed trails, loose rock, and deep sand! I think i saw 49 or 50mph at full speed in sport mode.

@JoeAdamsMedia, would you buy this or a surron?? No one is really riding or reviewing the 79 bike and it's becoming real sketchy. People are saying that the 79 bike is cheaply made and battery isn't a real justified 72v. The surron is still coming up as the "more reliable choice"also how can you replace a battery if you needed to in the future
@JoeAdamsMedia6 ай бұрын
@@mrspacely7320 I don't have extensive seat time on either bike, but based on the specs I'd lean towards the 79. Surron has for sure made a name for themselves as being one of the first and most widely-accepted ebikes in the space. I feel like "Surron" has become the generic term for ebikes similar to "Kleenex" or "Band-aid" for tissues & bandages because they gained popularity very quickly. However, they haven't made many updates since they hit the market and now we're seeing brands like 79bike or talaria that share similar elements but offer improvements in the form of battery & motor output. In the case of 79...many Surron parts will fit, so parts availability is there, and while a replacement battery might not be available right now, there has to be one soon. The FalconM could very well be the bike that Surron should have built but didnt...

Well done!! Great to see a family vehicle fixed up. We have a 58 CJ5 from our family. Been working on it like you for a few years. Nice top and doors! What did you get? Ours was down since 82'. Ours will be enjoyed in the woods of northern Wisconsin. Ours was down since 82'.

it's a lot of fun. It seems like a really well built bike, and I was very surprised at how long we rode for and only used half the battery capacity even though I was in 'Sport' the whole time.

@WhyYouWhyB same, this seems like the best deal for 72v, I heard it takes about 2 months to arrive, and it is also $4200, 50mph top speed. Seems legit. I want one so I can ride to work

@@WhyYouWhyBisn't it kind of sketchy how little content or context we get for the 79bike? Seems like a stock surron is a safer more reliable choice, idk what's going on with the 79 bike but I just want to see more people accept it as a surron killer and yet there's literally NOBODY actually maxing this thing out and really reviewing it and no battery replacement options
