I'm not a fan of lead bass players for christ sakes just learn how to play the guitar instead. The sound is horrible and muddy.

Horrible and muddy bass sounds better than any guitar distortion ☝🤓

Jason was the ultimate example of a true metal fan. He made everyone feel as if they were part of the team, part of the band !!

Jason WAS MIGHTY! He knew EXACTLY what to do , how to do it, when to do it… He knew how to make it happen live, he knew how to control the show … he DELIVERED and he is missed every moment he has been gone.

Cliff’s melodic bass lines , Kirk’s excellent solo’ s , James’s neat (!) vocals and Lars’s overly loud snares (as usual) this song is epic in every single aspect. Those people witnessed the best moments in the entire metal music history

That bass is in the rock and roll hall of fame in Cleveland . Strangely it’s next to Michael Anthony’s jack Daniel’s bass and not in the Metallica display. So If the members of Metallica know that bass is there why isn’t it w their stuff

always hear comments about how he was the best thing that ever happened to them. now i see it. i never knew i liked this guy.he actually played his bass instead making a bunch of thumping noises like they all tend to do
@MatChew75Ай бұрын
Honestly if I was him I would have been reluctant to go to Metallica because Lars was such a crappy drummer and he still is he's not Dave Lombardo or Charlie benante imagine if Cliff could have been in a band with either one of those two drummers my goodness. And he could have been the bass player for voivod but Blackie had that well covered with the blower Bass Blackie was right up there too and still is
@MatChew75Ай бұрын
I got to say though Frank Bello from Anthrax is right up there with him he's an amazing bass player as well but Frank sounds a lot like Steve Harris
@MatChew75Ай бұрын
I can tell by listening to him whether it's in this band or Metallica that is biggest influence is were John wetton from King Crimson and Chris Squire from yes and of course Lemmy from Motorhead
