This has always been one of my favourite spots for a bit of fun with the kids before the mackerel come in. But it seems this video has put the word out, 2 lads on Monday last landed about 25 and kept them all, two more Ukrainians there yesterday.. keeping everything they caught. Doubt there's an infinite supply of these great fish.. soon there won't be any. Sad.

My video has nothing got to do with people fishing this spot, Europeans have been fishing this spot for years and keeping fish, blaming my video where I didn’t once mention where I was, is absolute nonsense. I’m looking out to sea and fishing off the coast of Ireland. If anyone knows any of the spots, thats from their own hard work on fishing the places which are absolutely free to fish for everyone , nothing got to do with me.

Subbed, got hooked on ul fishing myself, the way you feel everything going on with the line and just a little flick sends small lures flying on overgrown rivers with pinpoint accuracy. Your audio/video is top notch. The link to your braid didn't work for me. Best wishes from Kerry!

Some great fishing on the fly. You should try fishing with some small streamers it's great fun and targets the bigger fish. It's really rewarding

Do u use a swivel to tie ur braid to ur fleurocarbon then the clip for quick change of lures was out today kept getting line crosses with the swivel on also losing a lot of baits 🥲 what’s best knot to tie ? Thanks 🙏

Thank you. Yes I stop when the water temperature goes above a certain temperature, it raises and lowers daily it’s different all around the lakes, water temperatures are low currently for July, so a lot of lads are still lure fishing.

Nice little vid, with a fun theme of changing lures. Those Spro links are good but don’t have a combined swivel like the Savage Gear clips do. Do you just fish without a swivel in your set-up ?

Thanks pal! I like to use those smaller size on the river definitely . ☺️ I don’t like to use anything smaller than 5cm on the lake, anything smaller is hard for a trout to see when being trolled at speed , plus the bigger hooks stick better into the larger fish 😂👌

Hi, so you have lots of options, what would your budget be? There’s a huge difference in a 100€ basic model and the 2000€-3000€ models. If you want basic depths there’s a few options, if you want something with maps, it will cost a little more, and then if you want features like sidescan, downscan, mapping, a few different models offer these.
