🎉 oh nice story. I live in the Netherlands where are the division between Catholics and Protestants are very sharp in some areas. In the north we have mainly the Protestant parts but also mixed with some Catholics who are lost there and in the south we have the opposite. I look at the stores who are still operating with design than its number is mainly in the Protestant part. I had a partner who was into Danish design so we went shopping a lot in design stores jewellery and the coolness of my partner reflects this which I also find in Protestant design and way of being.

Denmark is in such a wonderful place between Jacobsen and new practices such as COBE. My country the UK is going backwards, but so happy and inspired when i visit Copenhagen. Thank you.

Danish taste, design and style doesn't come from poverty, it comes from warriorship, organised effort and wealth. From 1,700 BCE on, this was steadily built up. It's difficult to be simple and that is why many other countries often can't do what Danes (and Swedes and Norwegians, also Japanese) do.

This is the most inspiring video for me now. Its not just describe of some product for sale, but describe how things are working in design of interior. How people are see the world and how they should work with our enviroment sustainebly. I really admire that beutiful shots and calm music. Very important for people, wich are also working with design.

Your statement about realizing how important quality and durability are in your home country, after visiting other countries, sounds very familiar. I moved from Amsterdam to Victoria (Canada) and l was shocked by the low quality of buildings. North America in general is founded by pioneers who needed to slap a building together ASAP, so it only makes sense that their approach to building is different from Central Europe. I am a Carpenter/contractor and l took the liberty to call my company ‘Dutch Carpenter and Co.’. Business is good here and l attract the type of clients that are looking for quality versus speed.

I wonder how a human being feels, sitting in a rectangular bathtub with hard edges. Not to speak of the person cleaning it after its been in use for a while. 4:14
