How much should you finger detangle a section of hair, because it seems like I Can Never Get All the Tangles Out, SMH

Before u finger detangle make sure u hair is moisturized with a leave-in conditioner and an oil. Make sure the sections you are detangling are small sections so you can do it effectively. Finger detangle until your fingers are able to glide through that section without you encountering any tangles that you can't easily detangle as you glide through the section. That is, tangles don't form knots at the tip of your hair as u try to glide your hands through it. Our hair tangles easily even after finger detangling, but you'll know that your finger detangling was successful when you can easily glide through any tangles. I hope this was helpful 🙂
