replace the iron core with a ferrite core for MUCH higher voltage, and put it in oil.

That was from an old GE x ray machine. Best to put it in a bucket of oil. You can generate a lot higher voltage with a ZVS if you remove the iron core and use it as an air core transformer. They primary coil uses about 85 to 95 VAC when using an X ray tube. If planning on using for general HVPS use you will want some means of insulation, cooling, and current limiting. They output 15mA at 125kv with 5 seconds on 3 minutes off max duty cycle. ❤

Some area is still showing some signs of specular scattering of light, possibly due to polarizer not fully covering the ring light so some unpolarized lighting could escape?

No hablo español, así que utilicé Google Translate. ¿Utilizas un filtro que sólo deja pasar la luz infrarroja? Si ya estás usando uno, intenta simplemente seleccionar blanco y negro en la configuración de "Efectos de imagen" de tu cámara. Si aún no utiliza un filtro, compre un filtro de "nanómetros infrarrojos de 850 (nm)". Espero que te pueda ayudar.

I hope my question doesn't sound stupid, but is your camera modified to "see" near infrared? I mean whether the built-in infrared filter in front of the sensor has been removed.

I used a polarizing filter with a screw thread that fits my lens. But you could also use the cut piece from the middle. Take a look at my website, which is linked in the video description, where you can see a picture of the polarizing filter. If you still have questions, just ask.

Thanks :) Today I repaired my CHERRY MX-Board 3.0 - it had 3 broken solder joints. Now its working again. Had problenms closing the case, because Space and AltGR did get stuck :( But after 10 trys it did work also again :)

!! If ZVS has ferrite core in wire coil, with switch on, isn't the power draw very high without load attached to secondary of ferrite transformer? Idling mode-- waiting for the end load. A standard type switching inverter with transformer has idling mode, low power, waiting for the end load applied. People keep turning on + off power to their ZVS set up.///...,,

I'm not sure. The crux of these modules is that the output voltage can rise to the point where the internal isolation fails and the thing just destroys itself. I mean they are cheap so not much harm done. I built a static grass applicator myself and used a dedicated device that cost around 18$ (can't remember)

İ have cherry MX 3.0 keyboard, my problem is not solders on back side of board plate. my female socket has problem. its cables are deformed and when I plug the USB male cable it does not contact, if I play it works. Eventually it stopped working at all. Can I change the Femaile socket? or What to do?

You can try to replace the female socket. This one from Molex should fit: Molex Type No. 54819-0519

@@Elektronaut I've replaced female USB 2 socket. Its working properly now. You are right best way replacing female socket. You need only 5 pin right angle female USB 2 socket and soldering equipments or you need a friend who can solder.

Das ist ein Flussmittel, das verbessert die Lötbarkeit. Wenn du ein normales Elektronik-Lot mit Flussmittelseele verwendest sollte das auch klappen. Achte darauf keine Kurzschlüsse zu haben.

Hat funktioniert! Einfach Lötkolben rangehalten und die PINs etwas zum vorhanden Lötzinn gedrückt. Die beiden Haltepunkte unten ware auch lose.

I tried this while the wires are lying on the floor( I soldered wires to extended its length without any insulator) and it didn't work. I found out about that later. But in this video -> kzfaq.info/get/bejne/griBn7uA2-DeeX0.html He was able to put the wires on the floor. Also he was able to connect more wires to it. How come it works for him? but not me

Is your wire a bare or skinned? If skinned there’s no insulation whatsoever and it gets grounded But if it’s already bare since buying it’s already coated (heat can destroy the insulation) Or then idk

Well here's a long shot but do you by any chance know or can link to a datasheets showing this models static pressure rating. Been trying to find this information but to no avail. Thanks if you see this :D

I have no datasheet but I can try to cobble something together to measure the static pressure... Problem is I have no idea where I have placed the fan since. It might take a week if that's okay for you?

Sooo I did the measurement. Fan blowing in a blocked off box, @ 12V, current draw: 3.55A. Water column 40mm which equals to 3.9mbar

@@Elektronaut Thank you immensely. Just ordered 4 from a retired HP server. A dozen more on the way from a different seller. Will post a video of the project if you are interested? Cosmos 2 case with 4 S9300X2 GPUs and the fans in question sucking the air through them out the case. The other 10 are because I enjoy high speed fans haha :D

I ordered this! It states 1000W 20A. Does the 20A refer to the OUTPUT current? If so, ideally, it's 50V MAX at output? Is this a sine wave? In my final app, I need "sinusoidal approx. 600vAC peak at 10A MAX" to drive a bridge rectifier. What do you suggest I add to this driver output==perhaps a HF transformer?? THANKS FOR THE GREAT VIDEO!!!

no, 20A max input. I mean, it's really not 20A max, the mosfets could do 30A or so, but they are IRFP260N's, 50A mosfets. They can't do 50A, because of heat. Anything lower 20A can last you a longer time, same for voltage.

Hi, I am not sure if I understand your question? 1.0 to 8.0 ist the power setting of the flash. The numbers are a bit odd: 1.0 is the lowest setting, 4.5 is half power and 8.0 is the highest setting. Does this answer your question?
