I have NEVER seen a more noble ending in a Doom 2 mod. I had to copy the bulk of the ending text and paste it here. With thte fall of Nanocorps, other corporations were rendered vulnerable. Humanity began rebelling against all the military corporations in the worlds. Without the aid of Nanocorps and their technology, they were done for. The world turned into chaos. LIFE IS MEANT TO BE LIVED, NOT MERELY ENDURED. Baxter, with his huge knowlenge of the mutagen projects, became the lead researcher of Medcorp. A global company that specialised itself in chronic and infectious diseases. His research on the new immune-system boosting drug, in a natural manner is going swell. Soon things like pneumonia or cancer will be merely a dark memory. Baxter received a noble prize for his research. A prize he never expected to gain In his lifetime. However during his speech, he reminded people that without Jark Drax who was missing at the time, the fall of Nanocorps and the research on the immune-system drug would never be possible. It was then when people learned the truth about the events. The speech caused a lot of controversy in the politics however people began building statues of Dark Darx in their cities and on the name plate. The called him a legendary hero who ended the age of the Darx dictatorship. Years passed however Baxter stayed true to himself and kept reminding people of why they can live in the new world they do now. Jack Darx was still missing. MILLIONS OF LIVES WERE LOST DURING ALL THE CORPORATION WARS IN THE PAST, APPROXIMATELY 10 TO 50 TIMES MORE THAN DURING WORLD WAR 2. ONE WONDERS WHY WAR WAS THE ONLY OPTION FOR PUSHING HUMANITY FORWARD. IS THE WAR THE ONLY WAY OUT FOR US TO EVOLVE? Mother… I came here because… All the fighting. The death of my brother, my Father… stepfather. I thought that killing will drive us, humans, nowhere. Everything on this planet has the natural ability to chose good or evil, whether they be a replicant, a synthoid, or a cyborg. The world is being rebuilt. I know you are probably wondering why I am not taking all the glory. I have chosen not to. Because I don’t Deserve the honor of leading it. This new world does not need a person like me:A mindless drone bred for the the purpose of killing my enemies. I was born no different than my father, brother, or any of the beings I killed before them. Because of this, my fate is tied to a life of suffering in isolation to ensure that my bloodlust does not corrupt the fate of the world. I pray that Baxter remains free of the taint that corrupted my father and brother: I pray that he will become the leader this world need needs to push humanity towards the rights path and out of darkness. On this note I leave you mother, knowing full well that my actions, however cruel and unsympathetic they were, save the world from a fate of corruption and darkness.

0:55 Those are one-sided linedefs, so the middle texture wouldn't cause the Medusa effect (in fact it wouldn't do so on a two-sided linedef because it's only one patch). But it'd definitely cause tutti-frutti! ;)

14:22 We got to see the decapitated King of Shuigang in credits while Lord Brevon, who killed him laughed.

Man, like alot of others are saying, I love how Brevon can walk the walk and once he loses his machines, he's just as dangerous. When I finally got to him and got through his first two phases after one or two tries, I knew shit was real when he's the ONLY enemy in the whole game that can grab Lilac out of a Dragon Boost. I love how his pattern is different than most of the bosses where he just goes full ham and charges after you over and over.

man, this game. this game has lived in my head rent-free ever since it came out. what it was trying to do was so cool, especially for its release time, but those backgrounds just move too fast... to date, i think this is still the only gameplay footage of this game floating around on youtube that isn't 240p beat machine.
