Did you have to cut the transmission tunnel to fit the 6 speed transmission in the car?

I hate all the Bouchillion performance references. I spent $8k on a motor from him a long time ago, and had to fight with him for months to get everything i ordered. Neglected to communicate with me on where things were, then turned out his hush hush was to prevent me from finding out who did all the work, and i could've gotten everything for almost half price. Dude was scum.

What’s wrong with running the 8 speed vs 4l80 ? Just a question
@HouseofMouseRacing2 ай бұрын
There are differences. I started doing these before there were any controllers out for the eight speeds. My car's been running for 6 and 1/2 years. My Transmissions run off can bus so the engine and trans talk together. No one elses controllers do that. Just a matter of preference. And the 4L 85s are smaller
@HouseofMouseRacingАй бұрын
Preference. 4L85E can use CAN-BUS which no other trans can. Makes for a better operation of motor and trans. Easier for parts. You can check fluid levels. Tune trans easier.

There are no classics anymore. Get with the times. Nobody wants cars from the 60s or earlier anymore special nothing brought up to modern times. Dont through Barrett-Jackson and Mecum, most of the cars, the owners ate lossing money. By the way, this car sold at Barrett-Jackson for more money than most Torino's sell for. Modern Muscle for the win!

I would drive this car anywhere, and any day as long as it had blue skies, and absolutely no chance of rain… All this car would ever know would be a soft soap, then cleansed with purified water… Such a beautiful example of what a car should look like… Kudos to you, my friend! And I have owned over 33 classic cars in my life…so,I know classic cars pretty well…and judged a few car shows along with having cars in Super Chevy events….again,wonderful job! Should you ever want to part with his car? I know someone that would probably buy it… Take care, be safe, and God bless!

Why would anyone bother ? By the time you are done 'swapping' a std Gen 3 Hemi the costs associated intend you could have easily paid for a "properly" built/funded legacy engine with EFI.... The only advantage I can possibly see ? might be in a Hellcat/Boosted engine swap.... but again the costs to do so properly inclusive of Body/suspension upgrades beget prohibitive expenses to be incurred ? Waste of time and Money !
@HouseofMouseRacing9 ай бұрын
You'll never understand
@dirtlump9 ай бұрын
@@HouseofMouseRacing you're right I won't ever understand ? Because I Machine/Assemble & Dyno more hp every month than you'll own in your life..... and Flow the Heads of everything during the Process whether it's R& D for a new Port to digitize for CNC just playing with older stuff.... so I know all about any relevant 'potential' in a Gen 3 Head as well ? Or is it just so it runs like a Toyota you are seeking ? hence why I referenced EFI retrofit ? Problem, being people either can't or have lost/forgotten the ability to rebuild anything "properly" anymore.... so off to the auto wrecker for a used core and let the swap begin.... the 'new' Cubans ! The simple fact is the Gen 3 just doesn't run any better than the older stuff done ... and again here "properly", and other than gearing in the Trans is a collosal expense for little/no gain in driveability nor power(less on average)

What was the difference between a Coupe DeVille convertible and an ElDorado convertible in mid-60 Caddys?
@viciouspoodle554310 ай бұрын
Hi! They were identical cars except for exterior and interior trim differences. For '65 and '66 the Eldorado has rocker panel chrome and real wood in the interior. The DeVille did not; however the DeVille had GORGEOUS thick chrome molding on the door belt line and B pillar. If I owned this car, I would transplant that chrome molding from the DeVille to it. You would think the more expensive Eldorado would have had that rather than the DeVille.
