I know her. She lives in a retirement community now and has one of the nasa models of a mars rover on display in her apartment. A very interesting lady to talk to.

Nice video - unfortunately, there is a lot of folklore repeated as fact.

Archer Street is named after my triple great uncle. However, I have information on what my great grandma witnessed of the race massacre. Her father forbid her brothers from leaving the house. (They weren't involved!) She actually did a special on HBO or one of those channels back in the 90's. Jay Leno reached out. I found it awhile ago. Archer street was actually named after John Wesley, my great grandma's uncle. He had the first general store in Tulsa. His best friend was drunk and came by and shot into a barrel of gun powder. John Wesley died a few days later due to his wounds. These are stories to help with the past. My great grandma was only 4 years old when this happened. Probably the most prominent family back then. Not because of oil or anything like that. After the massacre...I don't know. I didn't hear stories, but maybe my mom knows more. What I am saying...I would love to help fill in the holes wherever.

Welk was a notorious skinflint, wanted tp pay the Lennon Sisters scale after their huge success on the show and that's why they finally left.

Happy Tap Dance Day! What are the odds that I find this to watch TODAY?! Arthur was such a joy to watch. He had so much energy and added so much to the show.

Gooosh I loved catching this late at night as a 90s kid!! 🥹 I grew up in a very restrictied house but would wake up late just to catch Wexler's warm enthusiasm for movies. One of the best experiences as a weirdo youth living in OK haha.

I always watched the show when my mother went to the Aragon ballroom. She was friends with some of the band members l8ke Bob Ledo. One night we came home a little late but there was no mistaking Aladdin he was at our front door I was so excited I don't know what was up. I liked to see the Lennon sisters plus we all lived in Venice.
