I remember being a kid, alone in the house, dancing about and fist pumping the air to this song, played as loud as the internal speakers on my 1960s record player could reach. I even sang along, the lyrics wrongly pronounced and heavy with my natural Lancashire accent. Happy days, now just a memory.
