After David (Mr. Copperfield) is finished with the cloth thing, he takes it with both hands and throws it to the back of the stage area. Then, he raises his arms and as he's lowering his arms, the lights go down. Once the lights are fully down, he puts his hands on his waist. Then, he turns his upper half to the right and then he turns it to the left (with his head remaining straight ahead). After that, he leans to the right a little bit and throws his head to the right, then his legs step first with his left foot and then his right foot (while the lights slowly come up again), and then his right foot slides a little bit toward his left foot, and while he is lowering his top half into the chair, his legs move toward the chair a little bit.

They are just: so-so. Just a step up from mediocre. Nothing original.

Even when there is no Moon, All we have to do is wonder "How did Mr. Copperfield make it vanish!!"

The kiss at the end was the best part.

Here's how I think he did it. So the "witnesses" are all in on it. The "shadow" of the plane is "built in" into the fabric of the covers at the front. It's blurry to give you the illusion that the shadow comes from behind the people who are just behind the front cover. But it's actually part of the front cover. So as the first cover goes up, they bring in searchlights and postion them right between the plane and the people behind the front cover. As the second cover goes up, they position more searchlights to the right. Pay close attention right after the second cover goes up. There are two bright lights coming from behind. The one on the right (that is lower) is briefly obscured by the right cover as David sprints towards the switch. It almost fades completely and returns glaring at 1:56, even though the camera angle isn't changing. That's because the fake plane (yes, it MUST be fake, made of light materials, plastic, what have you) is being elevated at the back and then lifted upwards right between the big two lights from the back. They had enough time to "free" the plane from the hoses on the anchor stones. They ushered the searchlights out the back before the front covers fall. OR: The searchlights are retractable and reside in the anchor stones. There is no reason to believe these stones aren't fake. Now the plane is hanging nose down high above the scene from a crane. And because of all the bright lights surrounding the scene blinding, it's practically invisible. 🙂

Before he fully lowered the top half of his body into the chair, David (Mr. Copperfield) should have put the top half of his body sideways on the bottom half and after a few seconds, taken the top half of his body and finish lowering it into the chair.

I like how for this illusion, David (Mr. Copperfield) is in full view while the laser is cutting him in half. He's not covered up by a box or a cloth or anything.

Also, while David (Mr. Copperfield)'s top half is separated from his bottom half, you can see that his shirt and undershirt are still tucked in.

The laser beam must have cut right through David (Mr. Copperfield)'s spine connecting his pelvis to the top half of his body.

After David (Mr. Copperfield) had separated his top half from his bottom half and lowered the top half of his body into the chair, if his bottom half had fallen over, somebody would've had to come pick it up and set it upright again.

After David (Mr. Copperfield) separates the top half of his body from the bottom half and is lowering the top half of his body into the chair, his left hand is over his right hand and then he puts his left hand in the area where his upper half ends while his right hand is over his belt buckle. Then, he keeps his left hand in the same area while moving his right hand to his right hip. Once his left hand touches the chair, he puts it on his left leg on the part where his knee is and he puts his right hand on the part of his right leg where his right knee is.

Also, David (Mr. Copperfield)'s legs remain straight after he separates the top half of his body from his bottom half (so no knee bending or anything).
