Video was informative however am I safe was broken into evidently the century safes you can go out and just get another key for the safe by buying another safe of the same type in the stupid key fits it so somebody took money out of my say yes it was a significant amount yes I am a fool I never should have trusted anybody I have a live-in girlfriend and she's the only one that had access while I was gone I come back in thousands of dollars were taken out of my safe I knew somebody was at the keys because the key entrance has a flap and the flap wasn't pushed all the way back in once someone open the flap to get to the key entry so I started investigating and little did I know that you can just go out and buy another safe with the keys and they all fit your sentry safe and know that the safe was not cheap I'm bulshit

Ideally you should connect the Ring base station to ethernet. Then all the contacts on doors and windows are Zwave, not wifi. So you'll still have a basic security system in the presence of a wifi jammer. But the cameras are susceptible to jammers. You could consider an additional hardwire camera as a backup in case Ring camera is compromised.

I'm a little late to the party, but this review, while it may seem shocking isn't the entire picture, and anyone that understands TDS will know this. A TDS meter doesn't tell you the quality of drinking water and what it contains, it only tells you the amount of Total dissolved solids present. They could be anything, good or bad! The virgin pure system removes 99.9% of chlorine (the reason I bought it), it removes microplastucs and biological material and kills any bacteria with the UV steriliser.. It doesn't, however, remove minerals, minerals which are actually good for you, such as iron and calcium, etc. These minerals are what is showing up on the TDS readings, The only way to properly test is in a laboratory.That will give you a breakdown of the exact contents of what's in the water. As an example the TDS readings in mineral water is normally 300+ As for the boiling water being murky, I have never once had this issue with mine. There is definitely something wrong with the filter in this device.. Dont concentrate on TDS guys, it's a very vague test and doesn't show you the bigger picture. Humans aren't supposed to drink 100% pure water! We need the essential minerals that come with it. It's a bit like taking the alcohol for a pint of beer..... pointless.

I have a camera installed at my door. Let the thief use a scrambler. The real cameras are pinholes that are hardwired to a recorder in the attack and the landline that calls the police. Using a scrambler, and breaching a window/door causes the alarm to go off to call the police. Simply breaching the window/door causes the alarm to be phoned in/go off. The voice tells the burglar. Police have been called and your voice/images are being stored offsite from this house. Your scrambler does not affect this system. Happened once. They caught him. He never believed that someone would do that.

I am looking for a hack, all i want is for the doorbell to immediately pop up a live video on my phone when it is activated, it takes up to 30seconds to get an alert and by then the person who activated the doorbell is gone, i refuse to get the subscription all i want is to have video feed from the camera pop up on my damn screen when it is activated, just 15 minutes ago i got an alert immediately went into the app and clicked to get the live feed, nobody there, went outside and looked up and down the street, there was someone walking away about 100 meters away from my home.. So the camera picked him up as he passed my camera, but it took literary 30 seconds to send me an alert. I have 1gb fibre internet access, my camera is not more than 5 meters from the router, no walls in the way no other electrical devices in the room or passageway where the door is. I have just bought a new camera with an sd card memory storage, 3 sensors to detect anyone and almost immediate announcement of someone at the door even before they push the button. But if i could find a hack i could use the ring doorbell as a video monitor for my back garden.

Just get the cameras also, they will need loads of jammers to circumvent. Also link the bell and cameras to Alexa - which can also put the stream on your tv.

All you get is a picture of a criminal. Police where I am at will not investigate and prosecuters will not prosecute. I use the camera as to see in real time.. Home security is the heavy duty steel security doors, the dogs that bite, and firearms.

Ive got a ring doorbell camera. My kuma monitoring system running as a docker container on my router monitors the ring camera via icmp, wifi connectivity, and dns resolution and it alerts me via push notification and email. My router has 5g backup not to mention i have a server in the cloud which is monitoring the availability of my home internet connection. I think I'm a little paranoid. Inside the home i use a hardwired cctv camera setup with no internet access. If someone does break into my house well... Not much i can do to deter them at that point. My country doesn't allow for excessive or lethal force to be applied to an intruder.

After 3 months, II CANCELLED my Ring Doorbell subscription. The entire system is junk. The hard-wired trickle charge feature does not keep the Ring Doorbell working, and nor does the extra cost solar charger frame. The Ring misses half of the activity in front of the door, the video response when there is one is delayed, and the interface with video monitors and cell phones is mickey mouse, at best. Furthermore, the entire system is cellphone-centric. You must use a cellphone to program and adjust settings. You can monitor the system with a laptop or Echo Show, but changing Ring settings from an easier to use laptop is verboten. Evidently, this system was designed by and for little kids who go nowhere nor do nothing without a cellphone permanently attached to their fingers. The final straw was losing my access to the Ring Doorbell system every 30 days until I fulfilled Ring's requirement to reset my password with 2 factor authentication before I could see what had activated an alert. Evidently Ring had decided that I was no longer a paying customer and was now an employee at their beck and call. I can not strongly enough implore one and all to NOT BUY a Ring Doorbell. It is total junk, their customer service is abysmal (if you have an issue, avoid them and use KZfaq) and the system simply does NOT work as advertised. Save your money and tape a fake Ring Doorbell to you door. Better still, buy a real security system that doesn't make you work to be their customer.
