Not sure, you should descend vertically, without bending. I do power lifting and that's not the correct form if you want to have a healthy back.

For people saying it's a power shrug, I think he's using the legs to launch the bar up and his shoulders and only going along with the bar to make sure it doesn't go through the roof. All the power is from the legs from the launch to the catch.

PARE Test - you can cross over for both push and pull. COPAT test - Only side step/side shuffle.

You have to look at the test requirements and decide which will be relatively easier to complete. It depends on your training focus and current fitness levels. All of the tests require a good base of aerobic fitness and strength/power. The PARE is an aerobic based test. The obstacle course is longer than the COPAT. The COPAT test is shorter in duration and distance covered but, requires a greater amount of strength-endurance/power-endurance.

Thank you for this excellent video. Just a quick question. I see on the push pull machine here that there are 5 plates mounted. To simulate the full 70lb required for the test, how many plates of 10s should I have on the machine? Thanks!

it is the most argued Topic in Sport,i say listen to your Body see how it feels.Try both them out Switch them around see how your Body feels.I have done static before and after for a Long time no injurys and been strong through out.Now trying out dynamic before and static afterwards,to be honest I dont notice any difference at all.

I have also had a few tell me that other than for flexibility stretching is not needed at all.That it may even increase your chance of being injured or hinder performance if you do it before or after an activity.They were track and field runners and they claimed that it was because your muscles would be too relaxed before a run.Also just noticed I mistyped expert.
