Hi Deandra, i am in this exact position now, i am from the Caribbean and i didnt need a medical to come in, now i need to get this restriction from my permit as i will be starting placement soon 😬 i would like to know how did you initiate the medical? Also thanks for sharing, ive procrastinated enough now, this is the wakeup call i needed.

okay so first go on the ircc website and look at the list of panel physician find one near you just call them see if you need appointment or if it’s just walk in carry your passport, and the letter they give you upon enter if you don’t have the letter just tell them it’s a “upfront medical” this just means you haven’t applied on the website and you didn’t receive an actual letter from them stating you need it. Also will need the money and study permit just carry everything 🤣 or obviously ask them when you call what all you need. They will send you for blood works and stuff and tell you to come back they will give you a copy and also upload to ircc if you ask. Now this is the thing I paid all over again and resubmit like 3 times but I think it was incorrect because don’t think you need to pay! if you need me to explain more I’ll make a video and show you where to go on the computer and what application I used. Don’t procrastinate trust to be safe .

hey, I can see it being worth it for me! everyone experiences are different don’t listen to people. I would say know what your making the move for then only time will tell. What happen to me won’t happen to you and what happen to you won’t happen to me. But there are jobs and housing in Canada!! Don’t never let others determine your decisions life is about chances! hope I answered your question!😃

I appreciate you taking the time out to make this video cause yes I have made some plans before but they just didn't quite work out however I came to realize that God's plan is better. Yes I know what I want to achieve and may know a little about how to get there but its the pivoting when God speaks that matters most. You have to know when to set your plan aside and allow Him to lead you. Toronto is overcrowded and no affordable place to live. Rent is 2,000 and more taxes are high basically all your income goes on bills being a single independent person basically you will live paycheck to paycheck.

I’ve been in the US for almost 8 years and I DO NOT regret being here, my life has progressed so much since I left the Bahamas, some family and friends always tell me I’m a disgrace to the Bahamas because I said I wouldn’t come back to live even if someone payed me 😂😂
