Great stat about Gale Gilbert, except it's not true. He was the Bills' 3rd QB in 1990 and 1993, but was not with the Bills in 1991 and 1992. Also, "tuchdown?'

1. NFC east is the only division to have each team win a Super Bowl 2. All of Tom Brady’s Super Bowl losses came from an nfc east team . Giants 2x, and eagles 3. Teams in the NFC east have beaten Tom Brady in playoffs and super bowls . 3 Super Bowl losses from that division giants 2x, and eagles plus a playoff loss from the cowboys in wildcard round 2023 when Tom was in Tampa

The Cardinals originated in Chicago and adopted the Cardinals name while there. They wanted to move as the Bears were the bigger Chicago team. They eventually moved to St. Louis after getting approval to keep the team name from the MLB team. The NFL dragged their feet between the move though, letting the AFL form.

Thanks for posting this. I'm a football nut and football history buff. I love watching NFL games stretching back to the 1960s. It's interesting to note that back in the 1970s, the center had to use two hands to firmly grasp and stap the ball back to the QB . I'm assuming this was due to the size of the NFL football back then. Today, the size and weight of the NFL football allows the center to use one hand in the exchange with the QB. Of course, using two hands has always been needed for long snap situations (I.E. punting and fielding). I know my observation(s) and comment is a trivial detail, but I love football so much that I obsess over the details.

Orlando Brown Sr and Antonio Langham are the only players in NFL history to play for the OG Browns, the ravens and the new Browns. Coincidentally enough, Orlando Brown ended up getting drafted by the ravens.

Fun fact, the lions color scheme was decided by the owners wife it was between red and white, orange and black, and blue and silver. You can guess what she chose. Another fun fact is that from 1948 to 1950 the lines change their color scheme to scarlet and black. I cannot imagine the lions in Scarlet and black that looks disgusting.

So Bison are also know as American Buffalo. Plus if you find an article from the 1800s about these animals the say Buffalo not Bison.
@tygrkhat4087Ай бұрын
Fred Gehrke painted each Rams helmet for the first time for the 1948 season. The name "Seahawk" was not invented by the franchise; there was a team in the AAFC, the Miami Seahawks. Jets is the shortest NFL team name...along with the Rams.
@nameeman1562Ай бұрын
Buffalo has been used as a colloquial term for the American Bison since they were first sighted by the white man, outdating the term bison by almost 100 years. The reason they get "Bills" from William Cody stems from his nickname "Buffalo Bill" which refers to his connection to the American West and his skills as a buffalo (American Bison) hunter. The whole listing for the Bills is peak midwit. It's the scrawny kid at the front of the class interrupting everything with "UMMM ACKSHUALLY" in an attempt to sound smarter than he really is.

The 4900+ passing yard thing is not a far metric. Tom Brady spent most of his career playing in an NFL that was run centric. It wasn’t until the second half of his career that QBs regular started throwing 4000+ yards. You were considered an elite passer hitting over 3200 yards in the 2000’s. It wasn’t until James Harrison m*red rdered Josh Cribbs over the middle that the rules changed and the passing yards exploded.

Another fact about Super Bowl XXX: At the time, many Internet content filters blocked web sites about the game due to the Roman numeral's association with pornography, an early example of what would go on to be called "the Scunthorpe problem".
