This genuinely worked! I ran the installer in administrator mode, just to be clear though I did not do a virus scan. For my purposes it didn't matter if it was a virus or not, so I didn't check. If you are reading this though you'll probably want to scan the exe and the files it generates with Malwarebytes or a similar anti-virus program. In my experiences after the program ran the entire screen stopped working, until I went into the bios menu and found out the entire screen was working. Then, when I booted into Windows everything was working great!

How do we use the files after downloading it

I had one and it was by far the very worst laptop in existence. I'd rather burn in hell than have another one.

Used this on a Surface Pro 7. It seems to have fixed it. I searched Reddit, microsoft official forums, reinstalled windows. I noticed that the BIOS touchscreen was working perfectly. AND I noticed that everytime I switched my resolution, the touchscreen would work properly for a few seconds, So I knew there had to be some issue. The stupid Calibration Tool integrated with Windows kept refusing to open no matter what I did, I was at my wits end. So thank you very much for this. Hoping it sticks for a while, as long as it lasts a while, I can just rerun the program later if it happens again.

Hi. I just tried this on my surface pro 7. Unfortunately it did not work. I tried working with Microsoft’s tech support and actually received a call after three weeks. Told me to send my device to the manufacturer then the phone went dead on their end. No call back or email response. Do you know of a screen calibration that would work with the surface pro 7? I’m about to replace my screen but if it’s a software glitch I’m concerned I will still have dead touch areas on my screen. Thank you in advance!
