What a great day and the weather was perfect. I most always release all of my fish unless my belly is rumbling. This was such a great day as this was the first Tarpon on the Fly. I hope everyone enjoys this video as the ability to determine how excited I was may not be felt through the footage.

@@flatswhisperer904 I just got back into fishing like two weeks ago and I’m not sure what area is best to fish in a small pond like Arlington would it be a shady spot in a deep part and or shallow or say theirs a current would I go to side wheir it’s blowing towards or the side where it’s blowing away from because it’s been really windy here in Lakewoodranch and I haven’t been catching as much fish and I think it has to do with the side of pond… anything helps😇

68 today pompano seem good between 68-72

@Ringlingflats PRIMOOOOO pomp Temps. 68-72 always been told by the old heads best it gets. Still low 60s in the panhandle. Can still get a limit but might take 6 hours

Suggestion...keep your left hand with the right hand on the backcast. When you let them separate slack is introduced and loss of power on the forward cast. When they are together you can pull down on the forward cast (haul) and get much more power. Way more important into the wind. Great video!

I tie the schminnow on a #4 with chatruese small lead eyes . I use fl yellow marabou tail, pearl flashabou, rootbeer cactus chenille body

When a manatee gets snagged by a hook and the line breaks or is cut, the results can be tragic. The line may become entangled around one or both flippers and/or become wrapped around the manatee's body. Or the manatee may ingest the fishing line as it grazes on seagrass. Ingested fishing line will cause a slow and miserable death. Entangled flippers will gradually become amputated as the line cuts into flesh and bone over months or years. Wrapped around the body, the line will eventually kill the animal.
