When there is an awning over the front door and kitchen window - I assume it will be automatically retractable - etc. I hope that option will always be available - so if a nasty wind appears - the awning can be retracted from the comfort of one's bed - especially at 3am in the very early morning. (Hmm - wind sensor on the roof??) I also expect to see lights outside - that could have programmable motion/proxy and daylight sensors? I assume that Pebble Flow has sensors already (auto-hitching) so perhaps it could be programmed to turn itself around (space permitting) whilst there are people inside? Perhaps even drive around from inside? (under human control). Lastly - a Camera at the back of the Caravan to connect to a screen in the towing vehicle?

I wish TCL designed those glasses with a removable battery so that it can be replaced on the day it will inevitably die, to make them a really long time investment by considering how the whole world has been struggling financially with inflation for 2 years since Russia invaded Ukraine. A cap on the cable port would also have been welcome to protect it from the rain. Last but not the least : I also wish TCL chose the 2nd gen of the Snapdragon XR2 chip which is already used by the meta quest 3 and consumes 50% less power than the 1st gen included in Rayneo X2.

Some 3d printing channels have tried to FDM print models of this in TPU, but they don't bounce. A PLA print bounced, but as PLA is rigid, it broke after a few impacts. Some have speculated that a very high shore hardness TPU or a mid-range hardness nylon may work better. This technology would be great for public basketball courts and schools, which would be the last to actually get it, but still nice to see 3d printing getting some attention!

Just ordered the Xreal Air 2 Pro, very excited to try them out. The launch of the Vision Pro has sparked a lot of spacial computing hype, but I've realized the solution I'd most desire already exists at a fraction of the cost. I don't particularly care to have hand movement tracking or much interaction, so something that's $400-$600 and gives me three massive virtual screens in front of my face is really all I could ask for. I can't stand wearing my son's Meta Quest for longer than 10 minutes, so it's really great that a much more practical solution exists.

What they didn't mention is that the XREAL Ultra is much easier to wear and walk around outside. They're also a fraction of the weight of Vision Pro and really designed for work instead of just play. It's true that the tech is a bit better on the Vision Pro but with the size of the goggles, it just fits more, but this doesn't change the fact that it is really a VR set, whereas XREAL is the only true AR with these capabilities out there. I've seen the reviews of people who have tried both and they almost all agree that Vision Pro is great for using indoors for a couple of hours at a time before head weight fatigue sets in, whereas XREAL can be worn for much longer and used for actual work. In my opinion, XREAL is where Vision Pro wants to be in future iterations but by they time the get there, XREAL will be a eons ahead of the game just as Samsung S24 Ultra is compared to the latest iphone. I'm going with XREAL.
