I can see Kevin being a great producer and engineer he is a super clean precise guitar player with a very good ear obviously just listen to him play never a note out of pitch even when you watch the oldest videos of him and he’s a great writer it’s amazing the stuff he wrote with lovehatehero as a teenager and he’s only gotten better. Hopefully one day there is a LHH reunion!

Faack! Me too, i was a scene/emo kid all throught middle and highschool. Listened to every metalcore band under the sun. I'm almost 30 now and am just realizing how good LMTF are. Always new of them and even liked a few songs here and there but never really gave them the time of day.

I just recently started really listening to them this past year and fuck am I glad I did. Good thing about situations like that though is todays music imo gets so boring and i get jaded so fast. So its amazing when you find new music that you love. Even bands like LMTF because even their older albums will be new to you so it's a whole damn catalog of new music to listen to.

I love James. He is one of the nicest people I've ever met. I wasn't able to get upstairs at a club in Fl. Named Free Bird where Midtown amd Lostprophets were there as well. But i was souly there for 18. And wanted autographs so bad yet security said "go f urself" and James walked up right behind me. Wrapped his arms around my shoulder. I looked up and was so excited. Like yo, James just came up to me and etc.. Needless to say he took me up to get what i wanted. This was in their prime right when obsessions came out. I just always that it was an amazing memory. Jacksonville Beach baby. Love this band so much. Since 2002 when i use to buy those trustkill dvds at Hot Topic. Inferno is amazing

Chris’s hair in the “The Great I Am” music video was a huge inspiration for my hairstyle back when I was 18 y.o. I think? around that time. Either way thanks for all the pussy Chris 🤙. I’m glad to see him and the band LMTF have been grinding together throughout these years. I have lots of listening to catch up on. 🤟

I love how chris is so humble and prefers to remain modest with the music he makes,they could easily b as big or bigger as the rest who have made it in the spotlight..kind of reminds me of SIKTH who have remained so underrated despite being the pioneers and having inspired bands like Periphery.

For a long time only just recently i came across LMTF on spotify it sux that are so under rated n unheard of considering they have been around for a decade,it almost feel like my fault for not trying hard enough to discover good bands.mainstream has like swallowed everything as a whole.

moths have always been one of my favourite bands its criminal they're not bigger than they are. Maybe the lack of social media has hurt them like Chris said. The bit at kzfaq.info/get/bejne/rb-fdsuZ1qu0h4E.html describes the band perfectly though they stay consistent to their sound, for the most part you know what you're going to get, and they do it very very well.
@deadpressuk
@deadpressuk 3 жыл бұрын
Agreed. Not every band has to be consistently re-inventing the wheel, testing new waters and pushing boundaries. Some bands should stick to and hone their craft, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.

Does it even matter bro,imean does religion even care about what is being said..in fact its these religious institution that is demonizing n cause unnecessarily harm to the metal community.personally forme its an antidote to the poison.

@@deadheadliving _"Does it even matter bro"_ - Yes. _" does religion even care about what is being said."_ - No, but those that actively pursue it do. _"in fact its these religious institution that is demonizing n cause unnecessarily harm to the metal community."_ - Yeah, that's my point. _"personally forme its an antidote to the poison."_ - A legitimate education is an antidote to religion. Metal (especially metalcore) is saturated with Christian bands. Bands that spread the poison and the cycle continues.

One of the scariest thing about the scene is that we (the fans) basically self govern everything. You can write such good music, but if you make 500 fans mad because it's different or soft or whatever can literally break the band. I think the biggest example is in the cancel culture right now. It's scary and sad at times, but overall that's what makes the scene exclusive i guess.
@sarahcheever2229
@sarahcheever2229 3 жыл бұрын
But at the same time, you could make those 500 fans mad about the new sound but gain 1000 new ones for it. I think bands should just make whatever music they want, and certain fans will come and go. People like myself will stay regardless because we like all ranges of music.
