To my ears the sound quality here is noticeably better than the album - which always seemed lacking to me. Outstanding work by all. Really, first 2 minutes, I thought you were playing along with the album.

Could be the use of reverb, Hackett's recording is high on that. Thanks for the compliments.

I remember the first time I heard this. I had to stomp around and walk it off, so thrilled I was. Unlike the LP, this guitarist got the timing right!

I don’t know if it’s been said elsewhere but your crowning achievement and gift to us all will be when you cover Ant’s XII in its entirety. You can do it. You’ve got time. 🙏🏼

That'd be cool. I would have to find a good 12-string guitar for that though. But I still have time 😉

Thank you. Actually, I got a bit distracted towards the end where I flab a bit on a couple of notes but I thought the rest was pretty decent so I wouldn't have to do another take. Very glad you enjoyed it.

I found this video just as I was about to leave my house, and it truly moved me. I ended up listening to it multiple times while driving, and I loved the sound of the recording. It's an absolutely beautiful interpretation; you are a master, as usual.

I'm honored that you liked my performance so much. This piece is so well crafted and it really grows on you on multiple listenings. I wasn't sure if I got it when I first read the score but after listening to Ant's recording it clicked immediately into place. Thanks for watching, Paulo!

Somebody needs to fix that algorithm :D I'm glad you finally watched this one. I have to say I'm particularly proud of this one since it was one of the pieces I really wanted to be able to play back when I didn't know much about guitar playing. Thanks!

@@hyperboreal Do you figure out these complicated pieces on your own or are there charts somewhere? Brought to mind Jon Anderson on stage, I once played guitar like that... It was in a dream, I remember it's vividly.

@hyperboreal18 күн бұрын

@hyperboreal18 күн бұрын
