I'm assuming the modern craftsman is very popular because I see so many. I personally think they aren't anything like the originals. The classic craftsman is an amazing design.

Currently in an HOA. When I retire and move...? NEVER again. That will be my first criteria expressed to my real estate agent (happily also my daughter-in-law): I will NOT buy in an HOA again. Ever.

HOA"s violate The Constitution and are nothing more than steal money based on fines that are illegal.

There is nothing good that can be said about a HOA. I would not live in an HOA community if you gave me the house.

I am a painter, nobody is telling me what color the outcome of my labour should look like. If my yard isn't a dump, go away. Every client I have had has hated their HOA. That's enough evidence for me to avoid them.

Living in a city full of delusional leftards, of both the communist and fascist persuasions, doesn’t bode well for an inviting HOA community as it offers those dunces the opportunity to be the tyrant they’ve always wanted to be. #SaveSeattleFromTheDems

So if you have a cash offer on a home purchase and you're fine with title clearance - why do you need escrow?
@teamupseattle4 жыл бұрын
Bigfish Tuna In WA State escrow is required to facilitate the legal closing of a real estate transaction. It does not matter if the buyer is paying cash or getting a loan. In some other states, a real estate attorney closes the transaction. Hope this helps!

Michael, how often have you had a buyer's offer not accepted due to not waiving inspection? What would you do if you were up against offers that waive it?
@teamupseattle5 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick, In Seattle (if you are competing for a home) it is vital to pre-inspect prior to making an offer to put you in the most competitive place. If you are not competing (and the home has been on the market for a bit) buyers can certainly include an inspection contingency and it won’t hurt their position. A buyer should never buy a home unless they have a chance to inspect the home either before or after their offer. It is difficult to compete with other buyers who have waived their inspection contingency because it makes their offer really attractive to the seller. I hope that helps and sorry for the delayed response! Best, Michael

This video inspirational, here's a link to my house if you like to take a look I'm currently selling it to move to Las Vegas I love your house, you dd a great job decorating it. I have a craftsman that reminds me a little of yours. The original owners and people who owned it afterwards never stripped upAny of the moldingAnd kept everything original.I was able to come inAnd lovingly restoredTo its original grandeur.Even though a lot of the charm was removed from your houseI still find it breathtakingly beautifulAnd the video is spectacular! www.redfin.com/CA/Los-Angeles/5356-La-Mirada-Ave-90029/home/7109572

price has changed. They do not allow capping of tanks (leaving them empty) as a proper decommissioning. The feedback I get from my customer's, as far as price, is that it is now in the $700 to $1500 range, depending on what is done.

The dining room window casings, wainscotting, and pilasters are nice, but the house was sadly stripped of its original craftsman characteristics. I'd hardly call the adhesive adornments on the windows 'craftsman'
