Great idea to mix chocolate with the butter to make all the layer visible. But it would seem that you would lose the well-defined honeycomb structure inside the dough at the end.

I would suggest that you hear the apricot jam then sieve to remove lumps etc. then add a little warm water to the glaze. Brush on the sponge. We were taught to glaze all of the cake before pouring over the icing as this keeps the sponge moist

In the traditional recipe the sponge is not moistened. That's why you're supposed to eat it with whipped cream. But I agree that it's better when moistened even a little. I use coffee for that.

Ovo je neka druga verzija dobos torte. Korice treba da su tanke kao palacinka treba ispeci oko 12 korica a fil se kuva na.pari od celih jaja,secera,butera i cokolade. To je najstariji i najoriginalniji recept i tako i ja pravim. Pozdrav.
