Very helpful...with a lot of types of places compared...often we are all looking for different things at different times...great friesh fruit in Buffet or room service can really be special when cooking for one or two at hime and you just have very fresh and numerouse choices all the time..that can be as pleasant as 3.5 ofer 5 star extra price restaurants and want simple steaks vs a more complicated dish..lived all the areas and Disney is nice to know about and that that top one, Remy is really something. I had a home stay study in Franch for a spring semester and we had a caterer especially for the Baptism and Confirmation times in family's children's loves...a big thing in 1980..do not know now and..she was simply a chef...a fresh food chef...in Franch even a school cafeteria can have amazing lunches but we had to stop eating lunch...just have snacks at 4 ish and light bread and coffee in am and save it for the dinners,,,I know that I would never eat that freshly and dinely afain on the daily....She showed her "kids" true amazing home cooked by an expert with things that stay perfect over a few hrs..or stopping and cooking them of mny kany courses..her Easter dinner had 3 meat mains...an all these inbetween and side dishes and just,,,we were grateful.

I was excited at the prospect of a chair that would fit into a regular cruise cabin.... HOWEVER.... upon investigation..... regular cabin doors are about 23" wide... and there are three sizes of the Whill c... the small is less than 23".. the medium is 23.6" and the large.. the one I would need is 25.6"... so it appears that unless you have the small one... you will still require an accessible cabin.... unless you get out of the chair..outside of the room and have someone collapse it and bring it is... very disappointed

No tere level at this point. Toilets and dining rooms flooded. Pay extra for a second meal. Food is luke warm. No thank you ! At this time I’ll wait another year for improvements. I rather pay extra at Royal Caribbean.
@WheresWalterTravel10 күн бұрын
Dining rooms flooded? That didn't happen on our cruise. We had water get into the dining room and a few other areas during that massive storm leaving Cozumel. We see that on any ship when there is a list or large swaying from side to side associated with a storm. The toilet issue had to do with descaling and had already worked its way out by the end of our 6 nights. The food temps were already resolved by the end of our 6 nights. This is a really fun ship, but we'd be happy to book you on Royal Caribbean as well. We have booked well over 800 vacations in the past year, many of them on Royal and Celebrity. :)
@SilverHonda076710 күн бұрын
@@WheresWalterTravel I can’t remember exactly which video I watched that showed the dining room being flooded. If you’re waiting six nights or less for things to be fixed then that is a issue. Most of our cruises are six nights or less and I can’t see going that long and not being totally happy. I am sure it is a fun ship and looking forward to sailing on it one day but not for another year until the bugs are worked out.

@@SilverHonda0767 On inaugural cruises, you do expect issues. Just like the Wonder of the Seas when she launched with a host of issues throughout the ship for several weeks into the first month of operation. Sun Princess is just now opening venues after launching in February. All new ships have issues when they launch and when you take inaugural cruises, you understand the risk that comes with those sailings.
@SilverHonda07678 күн бұрын
@@WheresWalterTravel But Wonder of the Seas isn’t a 20 plus year old ship 🚢 like Margaritaville Islander but glad to see it refurbished. This is why I wait another year before I sail on refurbished ships. However, I expect more from Royal Caribbean because they’ve been in business for many years and loyalty points. Also, some of these channel members get a free cruises or perks for sailing on inaugural cruises so I really can’t trust their option.

Your video is very very insightful. I am planning a cruise next year, with the help of two of my friends, and Everything you’ve mentioned about the handling of the booking process: vacay style, ship, etc. it’s EXACTLY what I’ve been doing! I’m not a travel agent myself, and folks tell me I Need to become one because of my passion for cruises. Being on a huge ship is a beautiful feeling for me and as well as exploring new places of interest. I’m a bargain hunter. I will Voraciously, and have been with this up and coming cruise, Researching Itineraries, Ships, Destinations, Dates, Configuring Prices: Port Fees and Taxes, Insurance, Gratuities, etc. I’ve only cruised twice so far. Thank You for the heads up about hurricane season! New info for me regarding taking the risk/itineraries. There’s a lot more I would like to write with regards to advice. I’ve been Asking So Many Questions on ParoDeeJay’s Facebook Shenanigans page regarding this up and coming cruise. Folks have been gracious with their advice and feedback. I didn’t know an Agent doesn’t cost anything 😮 I was under the impression it could be anywhere from $100-$500. I’ve pretty much been the “travel agent” with this up and coming cruise for next year. I’ve become very knowledgeable about cruising and I naturally have a salesman personality due to my many many years - over 20 - of Customer Service. It comes very natural for me. Sorry this is so long! Thank you so much for your time! Talk soon 🙂

I’m going on first Royal Caribbean cruise ever on Symphony Of The Seas in Jan 2025. I purchased the unlimited dining package for my family of 4 and we have 3 others joining us with the package as well. I’m hearing mixed things on what you can order. Is everything unlimited? Can you get as many appetizers, sides, desserts and even entrees? I’m seeing a few people say you can only order 1 entree at chops. Not sure about the other places like hooked or Jamie Oliver’s. Before anyone says 1 entree is enough or plenty. That’s subjective to many people. People who say that also eat like baby birds lol. I’m also a bodybuilder. So I can eat, eat a lot and trained to eat lol.
@WheresWalterTravel24 күн бұрын
Unlimited Dining simply means you can go to all of the venues, not unlimited food. 1 Entree is usually the rule with any dining package. You can usually have multiple appetizers and maybe multiple desserts, but it's usually just one entree per meal. Additional entrees will be additional charge. The terms and conditions are spelled out in the package so you should see it in there.
@BruhSayWhat24 күн бұрын
@@WheresWalterTravel yeah, unfortunately there is no clear cut answer and it is different with every person and every ship. I’ve seen countless comments on Facebook, where people say the food is all unlimited. That they order multiple of everything even entrees. I’ve seen comments where people were told they can only order one entree but as much as everything else. I’ve also went on the website and searched all over the internet. There is no terms and conditions about this subject anywhere. People say they have called customer service and asked this question and said the rep could not give them an answer. Apparently it’s Russian roulette. You shoot your shot in hoping it is when you go or you find out they tell you that you can only get one entree.
@WheresWalterTravel23 күн бұрын
@@BruhSayWhat The official rule is "One Entree per meal." Whether it's printed anywhere or not, that is the official rule. I know multiple cruise lines have something printed in menu with fees for additional entrees. We have seen that on Celebrity, Margaritaville, Princess and others.

There is absolutely no reason to use a travel agent! Cruises are very easy to book direct online!!
@WheresWalterTravel29 күн бұрын
Sure they are. And you have to manage all of the travel yourself. And call the cruise line, airline and hotel when plans change. Or you can pay absolutely nothing and have a travel agent who takes care of that for you. Plus can get perks that may not be available to the public. And get directly through to the upper level management to address issues vs the 800-call center. There's absolutely no reason NOT to use a travel agent. We've traveled for almost 20 years with an agent before becoming one ourselves. It's awesome having someone else plan everything for you.

What do you mean you "don't know if it can hold 3 or more people?" That's a sofa, is it a sofa bed?
@WheresWalterTravel29 күн бұрын
Just because it has a sofa does not mean it's designated a 3 person cabin. It has to fit within the muster station and overall capacity plan. Sofa does not always equal 3 person cabin.

I’m looking for a cruise to the Caribbean for my dad, who’s 80 and has trouble walking long distances. It doesn’t have to be an all adult trip but which cruise ships are MORE friendly to Seniors and do they have accessibility options and/or wheelchairs if needed. Also, do most cruise ships have multiple elevators and/or escalators? Thanks 🙏🏻
@WheresWalterTravel29 күн бұрын
If you're looking more adult centric then Princess, Holland America, Celebrity and Virgin Voyages would be good choices from the mainstream. Also the smaller Royal Caribbean ships like the Vision class ships. Then Oceania, Viking would be good if you want to step up to luxury. Accessibility options are provided by third party vendors and must be ordered before the cruise. Cruise lines do not provide any equipment or assistance, you must have it rented before you come onboard if you think you might need a wheelchair or scooter. Most every cruise ship has at least 2 elevator banks but some are less friendly to wheelchairs and scooters just due to the smaller elevators and pathways throughout the ship. Especially the older ships were not designed with accessibility in mind. Happy to assist to help you find the right cruise. Set up a time to chat via our online calendar. Thanks! www.whereswaltertravel.com/contactus
