Man, you are so good drummer! I was at the Toto's concert in Barcelona the 26th and I enjoyed your outstanding performance. Thank you for let us learn something else about drums and music!

Your grip is identical to Jeff's. I've always loved watching Porcaro play in part because of his elegant grip.

... to follow up, just thought I should mention the reason I looked you up was I just recieved the new Lukather "Bridges"in the mail on Friday, and finally had a chance to sit down and listen. I saw in the credits the tracks that you and Simon split. Nice to see you still working with Steve. I really enjoyed the record and you did a fantastic job one again! Cheers!

Shannon, More content please! I know there's a lot involved and I'm also aware that I'm not aware of actually how much there may be involved - Legal, financial and otherwise.... You're a prime example of the difference between an amature and a pro. There's a reason why you're a studio/ session great and beyond. I've witnessed you play with many artists and have always enjoyed your humble attitude but monstereous groove. I think that's ideal, To let "The Music Do The Talking"! When you're good, you don't have to boast and be arrogant like some. You just have to sit back there, like you do, and wow people! Your education, precision and musical sense sets you apart. I started paying more attention after the Modern Drummer performance, years ago. That's when we had to purchase the physical media to view/ own it... The way it should be. The Toto gig was very emotional watching you! I knew you were worthy and turns out you were the ideal player for that band. I'm so glad they captured it in full sonic glory on the blu-ray. I cherish that recording and revisit it often. All the best! Thanks for the inspiration! You reach more people than you are aware, and your superalative talent has not gone unnoticed...and yet your still gaining steam.

My teacher, the legendary Bob Moses, taught me to sing the melody whilst singing the drum part. In other words living the music. This helps so much when you don't have time or you are not playing a lot at the moment.

RESPECT. Fun thing to see that you practice BD like I used to do 20-30 years ago.. not knowing what or why I did it. But it worked :-) Your the best, now Jeff is not with us in person anymore.
