This is a GREAT video. I’ve seen these threads off yo the side but I’ve never seen anyone take the time to really explain what they were, why they were there, and how to trim them (and when to trim them). Thank you!

nice, something I also like to do that can be relatively hidden is weave the thread behind a couple rows of the aida

Do you have a video in how to end threads using the loop method? In a Facebook group I belong to, someone posted a Tiktok video of how to end threads with the loop method. The voice sounds exactly like you but it has lunascraft as the source. Just want to make sure nobody took a video from you without permission.

Thank you for looking out! I do have an older tiktok video showing the loop end method, but didn't create that method by any means! I actually learned it here on youtube from a video by the NeedleBug. Though that would be a bummer if someone straight-up took my own video and removed the watermark, but sadly that does happen!!

Hi Jackie, Love watching your videos! Can you please tell me the names of the scroll frames you use on your full coverage pieces. I would love to order some. Thank you and I look forward to seeing more of your videos.

I have a few different frames I use, lately I have been using q snaps more then anything else! But for scroll frames I do find these to be super easy to use: www.amazon.com/dp/B07DZK2RNZ?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzahcs06-20&creativeASIN=B07DZK2RNZ&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.1XCTQMX3I25F5&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin Thanks for watching!

But how secure is it? Are you able to show the back? I've done this loop start before but I feel it's easy to unravel 😢 but my brain can't figure out how it's secure 😅
@jbeck1234Ай бұрын
I only use loop start and the thread is essentially wrapped all the way around the fabric front and back. I'd be shocked if it came undone because the next stitches secure it as well.

What kind of scroll frames do you use. I use q snaps but find out they split a lot. What scroll frames do you recommend?

I haven't experimented too much with different brands of scroll frames, they can get so pricey!! That being said, I do like these ones: www.amazon.com/dp/B07DZK2RNZ?linkCode=ssc&tag=onamzahcs06-20&creativeASIN=B07DZK2RNZ&asc_item-id=amzn1.ideas.1XCTQMX3I25F5&ref_=aip_sf_list_spv_ofs_mixed_d_asin

@michellesimons72086 ай бұрын
I don't recommend masking tape. It will leave a sticky, glue residue. And definitely don't leave it on your fabric if you decide to store it awhile. I have been using pinking shears and it works perfectly. Also when using a plastic hoop, you will not lose tension if you put the pieces together the correct way. there should be a mark on the inner hoop that says "this side up". that means you lay your fabric on top of that and then place the outer ring around the edges and tighten. fabric will not move.
@michellesimons72086 ай бұрын
thank you so much for mentioning the calculator by yarn tree. I recently bought a pattern on Etsy from Norway. It is her own creation and she only included number of stitches, not pattern size and I didn't realize that until I downloaded it. This is very helpful.

Do the colors bleed when you do this?
@atomheartcrossstitch6 ай бұрын
I stitched this using DMC floss which is colorfast so there is no bleeding 🥰 You would need to be careful if you're using over-dyed floss or fabric, but I've never had issues with DMC floss!
