K but you're a spokesperson, paid by the Robinson Curriculum. There is definitely a Bias on your pros and cons. Also, 199/year is the bare minimum for the Robinson Curriculum. The add- ons ad up.

I haven't read or watched Twilight either. I don't think we're missing much 😂 The I, Eliza Hamilton book is on my to-read list. ❤

Hopefully you aren’t printing books and taking that away from authors who spend thousands on their work and only get Pennie’s in return. That’d be a pretty disgusting thing to do.

The books I print are in the public domain or have access to through curriculum that has the rights to them.

I just finished the ministry of time and really enjoyed it. But like you i found the end very overhwhelming and also the romance was a little odd but i just love time travel so much .. so the baseline is already 4 stars :) now reading Eleanor Oliphant is completely fine

Love this video, sorry for the off topic question but do you have a recommendation for an electronic system to schedule daily homeschool work/chores/activities that they can check off on individually and I can check in to see what they’ve completed while away from home (during my working hours). Hope that makes sense. If you’ve already covered in another video, please point me in that direction 😁. Love all you do to help us disordered/& disorganized mommas. Thank you so much.

Even the old one on the RC has the ball earth promoted, in case there is anyone wondering if they are old enough to give the enclosed Biblical cosmology, aka flat earth, a chance. I still think they are amazing, but you may really want to know what your children are learning in there. Sharing back what they read is a great idea!

I didn’t realize any other math would be acceptable. Do you have any experience with Abeka Arithmetic? It’s similar in some aspects and has been working well for my dyslexic son. Suggestions?

My son is finishing 8/7. As for checking the answers, the answer key often shows him the formula or the math of how to get the right answer. How is he learning if he can not only see the correct answer but also the math of how to arrive at the solution?

So I appreciate the time you took for this interview but as a Christian- we should not be financially supporting anyone in the LDS church. They believe and support a different Jesus and as we financially support them, their false church will grow. 😢

Hello, where can I find the resources?
@shannonelliott9230Ай бұрын
Hi Karen, love your enthusiasm. One thing you didn't cover was when this math fact marathon ends, and how. Do you suggest gradually removing known facts, or is it just when they can read well enough to start Saxon 54 or other comparable math course? Just wondering. I've had RC a long time, and am now working on it with a grandchild, but never got these fabulous-looking, big, beautiful flashcards. Just wondering how you handle the graduation from them.

What if kids ask why some peoples don't have the same rights as others? Is God not doing what he says?

My father is named after Joel Chandler Harris. Just thought I'd throw that in. He was born in 1921. I have no idea why these very pro-American culture and the black American stories which were copied down by a man who was thoughtful enough to record African-American folklore for people who cannot read nor write for themselves....(if no one had written down the stories for Walker's people they would be totally vanished now, replaced by chants and rants about "guns, drugs, money and b*tches".

I love your book videos!! Thanks for sharing!! I just finished Sidney Chambers and the Shadow of Death by James Runcie. You might like it! It’s beautiful writing and more about humanity and the main character’s inner life and relationships than the mysteries. I’ve loved everything by Runcie that I’ve read. Here’s some more of my recent favorites. Words that Hurt, Words that Heal by Joseph Telushkin. What you are looking for is in the library was a fun, light one! Cal Newport’s Slow Productivity Build the Life you Want by Arthur Brooks and Oprah
