Not 100% sure, but I think there's different relays that control different motor speeds. There's a whole separate board in these just for the motor control

Oi cachorro quente Brasileiro, we have the Chamberlain 1100 garage opener at our home. I am trying to connect the homelink button on my car to connect to it, but I think the system it is to old and it isn't recognizing.
@TBHD7246 күн бұрын
You might need to try clearing the homelink. Press and hold the outer 2 buttons until the light starts flashing then try the programming steps again
@katiapereira15606 күн бұрын
@@TBHD724 I have already done it couple of time. nothing works, maybe as I say the garage door system I have it is too old.
@TBHD7246 күн бұрын
Some car manuals or videos don't mention that you might need to hit the learn button on the back of the opener and press the homelink button again to finish programming. Try that if you haven't already, otherwise if other remotes work fine with the opener it's probably got something to do with the homelink version either being outdated or too new to learn the code for something this old
@katiapereira15606 күн бұрын
@@TBHD724 Thank you, I will try tomorrow. But I think the 2021 homelink version maybe isn't working well with the 1994 Chamberlain 1100.

@TBHD7248 күн бұрын
If you have an existing remote that already works, the liftmaster 892LT is an easy one to program. If you don't have a remote, get either a liftmaster 811LMX or 61LM which are both compatible with this opener

Great tutorial. I own a Genie Pro with a screw drive. Lately I'm experiencing problems. The garage door will open but often not close or reverses direction back open in the middle of closing the door. It almost looks like it's tired when closing. I followed the steps from this video. I roughed up the Reluctor Hub and Clutch Pad and tighten up the clutch adjuster. But no improvement. I'm not sure what I can do to resolve the issue.
@TBHD7248 күн бұрын
If the motor sounds like it's bogging down when it runs it means you need to replace the capacitor. It's a really cheap easy fix

Such an odd machine. I remember questioning why they were putting it into production when our rep was pushing them. He said they only intended them for track homes and lightweight builder doors but I guess they didn’t sell well cause they were pretty short lived.

Hi!! Urgent help needing have this opener in a rental house and the remote which is model 3089-11 suddenly stopped working. What do I do. Battery works, but doesn’t run door. It was original to the opener installed in1981. HELP
@TBHD72412 күн бұрын
Few things to check/try 1. Make sure dip switches match. If they look like they match and it still doesn't work, try flipping them all to the opposite position they are now and see if that works 2. Sometimes a low battery will still turn on the LED but won't generate a strong enough signal to reach the opener, so try a new battery and see if it helps 3. If still nothing, flip every switch to the same position (all up or all down) on the remote and the opener. If this doesn't work then you'll need a new remote
