OH F NO! WHY?! (wait nvm. could have shown that you added the pads. Good job.) The Processor and the GPU chip needs to have THERMAL PASTE. You'll fry them off in just minutes into the gameplay.

I've never taken apart a controller before but I didn't want to buy another one. The left thumbstick was acting haywire and causing the right stick to move when it wasn't supposed to. The buttons weren't responsive as they should be. This totally helped me now it's working perfectly.

For a moment i thought you needed to replace a belt drive, but forget this is just the famicom and not the disc system. Thats what i heard about the disc system: a single belt drive can be the one reason why it doesnt work

Another issue that I have ran into quite recently is a misaligned head. This causes certain games not to read due to not being calibrated incorrectly.

Wow - this was a magnificent video. Great job from start to finish! Mine isn't nearly in this rough of shape, but it could definitely use some love. Out of curiosity, do you do commission console restoration? I'd love to do this, but don't know if it's worth investing in the tools, supplies, and UV set-up as it isn't something I do on a regular basis.

No weights th3 siad weights are the rumble motor, you can take them off tho if you want it's the same thing as tearing the cable you won't have vibration

I recently had Majora's Mask with the gold skin Nintendo 64 cartridge fall off a shelf and the bottom layer shattered into pieces, i have the pieces if it helps. Is there a possibility I could have it restored. Sentimental value really cancels out the cost. Unless the price is right
