I just picked Digimon World 2 up again recently. Played it when it was first out on PS1 but I was younger and didn’t understand any of the nuance with leveling so I never made it far. Crazy to find someone who has consistently put out content on it still. I know it’s a flawed game but I personally am loving it again! Great videos

Yes, it's possible with catching mega level digimon and buying a lot of revive disks and weapons. Did it on PSX, only because I couldn't figure out how to pass this 9999999999 and I had a crappy translated version. Now I can play in English and I still love DW2 as a game and story wise, but will never grind there again. I will replay the game only with cheats for the story, I don't have time for repetitive grinding anymore.

This video is really fun honestly. I love obscure secrets like this. Old games just had that charm which always made you think that there was something else around the corner. Another side quest or event that would lead to more content or an entirely new map.

This was one of the few games I bought New when it came out! Someone stepped on the game case and broke my disk....20 years later i bought it for 40 USD almost what i paid back then..now I play it on a jailbroken PS VITA with save states to go back and forth when I can and Still Love it! Almost done with the game with the Digimon I really want... Horn Buster makes this game really easy! Subbed for part 2! 🎉❤

Definitely interested in watching you take on Tera Domain. I actually finished the game years ago, but I couldn't bring myself to grind though 99 floors after finishing the story. And, yeah, Okuwamon was MVP. I DNA Digivolved him to GrandKuwagamon and he remained a staple of my team for the rest of the game. For future challenge runs, maybe the other Digimon World games? I have fond memories of 3, despite the admittedly obnoxious back-tracking (it's amazing how many old games had no fast travel), but I could never finish DW1, nor did I play any of the others except for Sunburst/Moonlight.

If I had to rank the Digimon World games I've played, I would say : 1. Digimon World: Next Order 2. Digimon World 1 3. Digimon World 2 Digimon World: Next Order was basically a remake of the first one, but without all things that were irritating. A couple of friends didn't even finished the game because they thought that it was way too hard haha! I really like that game. Finally a game that was actually hard. I won't even rank Digimon World 4, since it's absolutely not a digimon world game.

Until you get to act 3 of bulders gate 3, then rpgs dont need to level up anymore ... apparently. And absolutely no one talks about how 25% of the game your just throwing experience points into the trash.

Digimon World 1&2 were my jam. Played them incessantly.

Haha with speed up on emulators, it's actually very easy to beat the game really fast. I gave up on the game as a kid on the PS1, but I cleared it pretty quickly on my phone 😅 (the worst is that I have up after running out of beatle energy in the very last tower haha)

Good thing Sword of Convallaria is gonna be a thing soon. I already played the demo, I wasn't approved for the first beta but applied for it again for the different beta. Not in Global yet of course since I didn't played it, but it is already out in different languages. I been told the game would be out on Steam, Mobile, and Nintendo Switch. And SoD is the kind of story in the game where you can play the story with no features that prevent you from playing like no Stamina system and not like the ranking system from Genshin Impact either, infact SoD is so focused on no-gacha part of the story that I also heard you can recruit characters for free and there's no macro-transaction of any kind. Is just that you cannot transfer the progression to the gacha part of the game so you still need to pull for gacha to do other content, but I heard the gacha itself gives you alot of SSR characters (can't confirm if gacha aspect is good since the game aren't out yet in Global, but that's what I heard though). So that's cool, lol XD

Even Right now on 6 June 2024, they didn't even fix what they've done bringing this game to the worse. The Units that should be completely owned by just pulling and maxing their status only, but this game gonna eat all your money further by have to buy souls from the shop. Is this what we call gacha game? I've been fought this from day 1 JP to day 1 Global and I understand why DSDOO has to closed. This SQ Team only hungers for money they don't care about player feeling now. Sad :(
