Can someone please explain the difference between the NOMEX and the Aramid Flightsuit. I’ve been wearing Flightsuits for many years now and I am yet to know the real difference. I do know that I’ve been issued at least 2 different types. They both start out as bright green, but one fades to a dusky color and the fabric gets rough, while the other stays bright green with smooth fabric. But which one is which? I would like to know before ordering any. Thanks

Some good information would’ve been to let us know how big the manikin was and what size uniform he was wearing

I love these uniforms, but somebody decided the sleeve pockets needed button closures, which are a pain to open when wearing the uniform, I always replace them with velcro closure when I get them, reinforced areas like the elbows and knees fade differently than the rest of the uniform, so after about a month your knees will be much more vibrant than the rest of the uniform, and finally the material is not that durable, in both of my uniforms I have brushed up against brick walls and put holes in them. A significant improvement over the standard uniform, mostly with the button front closure over zippers which uncomfortably rub under body armor and the top flap opening sleeve pockets are better than the side zip sleeve pockets.

The knife pocket is not for a knife. It's for a glowstick/chemlight. There should be a hole in the flap to tie a string to, attached to the light. So if you crash in water at night, you light it so it floats next to you and rescue can find you.
