Great video Nicole! Now I don’t think I’ll be as hesitant to use the dark colors, and use the watercolor brush to drop the initial color onto the petal.

Its helpful to know I can stamp on top of gesso

This really shows how strong and dark those pigments are and we’re just a little bit of water how much variation you can get out of just one watercolor pen. I’ve definitely been using mine all wrong, and coloring in the whole design with a solid color, and this shows why it’s always too dark & too deep.

Any tips on removing Versamark from stamp sets AND acrylic blocks? I've used Dawn on my block and it doesn't work.
@NicolesCards2 жыл бұрын
Versamark is an oil based pigment ink with a unique formula so they can stain the stamp sets little more than others. I suggest trying ultra clean stamp cleaner for your clean stamps. If you are trying to clean blocks, alcohol wipes work great (not recommended for clear stamps as it can break down photopolymer)

WOW this is amazing, I’m just starting off on my water colouring journey. I’ve got my main essentials and been watching some videos, but am I glad I’ve just come across your video. I love this set. I’m finding it easier to die cut first and then stamp, it’s the stalks that cause me problems. I like the 2nd gen colouring technique you used, really cute card. 😍

Thanks for the detailed tutorial! I didn’t know soft pastels come in regular pencil shape. Now I want them 🤦♂️ I love my FC watercolor and Polychromos pencils! Of all my coloring mediums they are my most loved ones. You can’t never go wrong with Faber Castell artist level material. These are now on my Christmas list 🤗 blessings from Miami.

I have Shinhan and Cotman and there is no comparison in my opinion. Shinhan is vibrant, smooth, creamy and rewet very easily. I think they are far superior to Cotman, not even close!

What kind of tape do you use that doesn’t stick to the paper and tear your design?
