50 years ago I was enraptured with Holderlin also. Powerful gerunds and participals. But even in my foolishness their over-use was showing. Today is Wed. Oct. 18, 2023 I tried calling GROUP CHAT ABOUT YOUR DESTINATION WEDDING but it just rang and rang. I live in the Boston area and my brother's wedding was in Key Biscayne FL. I booked a block of rooms for everyone through my work, getting a "corporate discount" on the room rates for all who went. The hotel wanted the corporations future business, so they treated us really good. Not everyone could afford to buy airfare or rooms or meals so many didn't attend. So ------- the very NEXT SATURDAY, my parents hosted a 2ND WEDDING, all catered, drinks, music, flowers, and the bride wore her wedding gown AGAIN. This was attended by Boston area people, so about 200 people. But the cost to my parents for both weddings (Florida & Boston area) was HUGE !!!!! So I am suggesting a smaller 2nd wedding to include Boston area friends and family. Kathy G
