When I look back at this video we thought this was a fluke year and that the only reason they beat Ohio State and won the Big 10 was due to a snowy weather in Ann Arbor. But when they blew Ohio State at the Shoe last year and again this year in the Big House shows that the weather really had nothing to it and it was no fluke. 2022 turned out to be a better team than 2021 having a better showing in the CFP and winning games more dominant. 2023 was an even better team that finished the mission winning the whole thing. I just think 2 years ago we were just happy to get to the playoff after that hurdle of not beating Ohio State and winning a Big 10 title. 2023 were bigger expectations to show they belonged in the playoff and to win a national championship.

They have improved one hell of a lot since that night. I actually made these 3 videos to throw water on some of my friends that were way overconfident. I would say that Michigan lacked the experience in hindsight on that fateful night against Georgia. But also, I think CFB has changed a whole lot since then. NIL and transfer portal have flipped the script. Michigan had the most guys that would be NFL guys TODAY, by means of the portal and the Champions circle initiative. Rather than guys who would be next year. If you catch what I am saying. Gretzky said that you have to lose one before you can win one in Michigan’s case, they had to lose a couple. Go Blue! National Champs.

The last 3 years in a row I have told Ohio State fans to their face that we ain’t played anybody yet after we beat them. I feel like that this year too. Michigan is a good team for the league that they’re in. But that doesn’t really mean that they’re good. They’re probably as good as like Missouri or Ole Miss. Decent, solid, but not a national title caliber team.
@billeffingmurray1224
@billeffingmurray1224 6 ай бұрын
@jakesshopandtracktalk1835 yeah I agree. Their best shot is actually over the top & deep passing on bama. All the experts are saying bama's run defense is vulnerable (mainly based on what Auburn did)... but Auburn ran it good on GA too and they completely ignore that bama totally shut down GA's run game, and other teams' as well. That Auburn game really was an anomaly, mostly with QB designed stuff. I don't think any other team can get the run game going on bama, possibly unless they have a dual threat QB. The best way to score on bama believe it or, might be a deep passing attack, something we haven't really seen tried much yet with bama mainly because the QB's aren't having enough time to throw. Tennessee did it early on but bama shut it down in the 2nd half. So if JJ has any escape ability, and get it downfield fast might be the best way, otherwise it could be a long day.

@@billeffingmurray1224 really depends on the ankle he has been nursing since Penn State. He hasn’t been the same since. You’d expect Michigan to be a good play action team but they really don’t do much of it. The tight ends are the main weapons in the passing game and they’re both good. Neither of them is Brock Bowers though. We’re not gonna run it up the gut on Alabama. However I know good and damn well that’s precisely and I mean precisely what they’re going to try and do. Minus our All American guard, by the way. I hear people on TV saying JJ is a first round pick this year and if that’s true he better take the money and run right now, because I don’t see it. He can throw and frankly his legs are what lights up Blake Corum. However go ahead and run sideways against a fuckin SEC defense. Any SEC defense. Let alone Alabama. I don’t see Michigan really being able to do anything offensively. At all. FWIW, it’s super sweet to tell an Ohio State fan: we ain’t played nobody yet after beating them. It’s probably even better being right.

The problem with Auburn is...they play like crap with no motivation against teams like New Mexico St & Texas A&M...but they elevate to a whole other level & play out of their minds against good teams like Georgia & bama. I'm telling ya if the same Auburn team that showed up for bama had showed up for New Mexico State, Auburn would've skull dragged New Mexico State. All I'm saying is I wouldn't make any foregone conclusions about bama's ability based on how Auburn played them.
@mattdrewdrums

Not a convincing argument. Almost every team has down performances (especially in rivarly games). If anything, the worry I feel from seeing Bama beat Georgia handely far outweighs the confidence I feel from seeing Bama almost lose against a garbage rival the week prior. You also have to consider the post-season track record of both programs. Michigan is (1) horrible in the post-season and (2) has no experience getting through a CFP to win a title. Bama is the exact opposite in both of those categories. So, EVEN IF Michigan has the talent to get the job done (which I believe we do), I'm not confident based on our post-season record. I mean, we had the f*cking easiest road to a CFP title game last season and blew it to a laughably bad TCU team. Lastly, the performance of our offense on the back end of our season makes me very worried. I haven't seen our pass game look even close to elite in months.

I like them and I would call the comfort very good. but I wouldn’t say that I have worn them every day for 5 months. I’ve barely broken them in as I have been using up the sole rubber on my Nicks Builder Pros. Break in on Nicks boots is kinda a tough job in itself. So I work them in a day or two here and there. The thing is I don’t know if they’ll even try. After their scripted drive to start the game against us, they started throwing bubble screens on 3rd and short. Which is, I mean our defense is good but it’s not THAT good. CJ Stroud is the anti Max Dugan. Move him off the spot and take his first read away and the play breaks. He’s not going to tuck it and get them 3 either. Their receivers are pretty much super human. I still think Georgia wins. But Ohio State is the only thing that remotely resembles a threat in this playoff.

Well they better come up with a better plan pretty quick. Lol They saw Illinois get away with it after Blake hurt his knee. But there were cutback lanes available that Blake or Edwards would have torched Illinois on. Plus Illinois has a corner that would start for just about any defensive coordinator in the Country. I really can’t say that for Ohio State. There was a point during the game where I tweeted to somebody that we’re officially in that staff’s head. Georgia does everything we do only with more great players. I mean if Day scored a monumental upset against UGA and went on to get punked by Jim Harbaugh, I could see him getting fired and that my friend is really funny. Go Dawgs. Hope to see you again soon.
