2019 Subaru Outback Limited, 41,941 miles

Does the car need to be stopped before pushing the awd lock button? I have a 2022 Kona SEL with AWD. I live on a short steep private road that turns into a muddy mess (think mud bog) when it rains. Wondering if I should leave it in automatic mode or use the lock button?

How to turn it off??? I just went through the car wash and it's on now.

I think it should be mentioned that that speed limit of 20 mph doesn't apply to all Hyundai models. At least because on my manual for the 2020 Hyundai Santa Fe, it says 40 mph is the maximum and then Auto All-Wheel drive is activated.

Does new Staria have this option to ?

Peace of mind and safety are two different things 😂 4wD or AWD lock doesn't have anything to do with safety.. more like convince.. being suck or can't make it up your driveway is really a inconvenience 😅 but 99% of the time u'll be fine.. sliding off the road at 45 MPH and hitting the ditch that's getting into safety aspect.. cheers 😊

Lock does not work my IX35 does front wheels

When i drove home from the dealership with my new tucson i had the Diff lock engaged (light was on) did this cause any damage to the vehicle?

I have a 2021 Sonata N Line, I get a display - Battery discharging due to external electrical devices. If car is not used for 6 days the battery is dead. The battery checks good, charging system is ok. Any ideas what is causing it???

Same view as via the mirrors. Nice gimmick, but only time it will be better than a mirror is if the mirror is blocked with ice/snow or possibly with heavy rain since the camera is protected at the bottom of the mirror assembly.

Sept 2022. Ive had mine for 2 months now. I love the size and utility of this truck... Things I hate... Turbo model, 16mpg city, 20 mpg highway if you keep it under 65. The seats feel like a burlap bag and 100 grit sandpaper and HARD.. like sitting on a log, you wont want to drive more than 15-20 minutes. That why I opted for the Limited version, it has leather seats... but then Im stuck with the turbo, gas hog.... and funky all wheel drive, which I dont use either of them. The tech... is mostly gemechs I can do without. This is my first and last Hyundai, they play this stupid game of OPTION PACKAGES.... LISTEN STUPID.... STRIP DOWN THIS TRUCK.. I want a backing camera.... THATS ALL.... NO TURBO, NO AWD, NO HOKIE TECK KRAPOLA... That should bring the price down to about $14,000. BTW, Toyota is working on their response to the Santa Cruz... I will DROP this Hyundai like a hot rock when it arrives.

I bought one of these. 2 months old now, 2,000 miles. Limited model, turbo charged. When test driving these, the lower models have cloth seats, feel like burlap bag and 100 grit sandpaper, not something you will want to spend more than 15-20 minutes on. If you opt for softer seats.. in the Limited model, the turbo GAS HOG motor comes along with that. I get 16 mpg city 19-20 mpg highway if I keep it under 65mph. I do like the size and utility of the truck. Hyundai is playing a scam on their customers right now with... no entry level trucks being built... at $22,000. I hate all the 'tech' Ive turned most of it off. I just want a backing camera. Give Hyundai a couple of years, til they stop playing the 'storages' game. Hyundai, make me a base truck with COMFORTABLE VINYL SEATS.... NO TECH KRAP, KEEP YOUR CRAPPY TURBO, and build it for under $20,000. BTW, that 10 year 100,000 mile warranty, DOES NOT INCLUDE THE TURBOCHARGER... that is 5 yr, 50,000... Even Hyundai knows these are problematic KRAP. I'll be selling mine before that.

2000+ miles into my new limited Santa Cruz and I have to say, THIS THING IS AWESOME! I spent about 20 hours in research before purchasing mine in Somersworth, NH and its still more car/truck/SUV than I had expected. It’s a very luxurious sports car with tons of power... has the interior space and convenience of an SUV... as well as a super functional truck bed for most of your home, yard, work and play/hobbie/activity needs and tasks. Hyundai nailed it on this one. Everywhere I go this thing is snapping heads around. Great overall value. I highly recommend checking this thing out if your even moderately interested or even curious... you won’t be disappointed.

Bought the SEL AWD 2.5L na engine. Saved $12,000 over the premium/limited. Have the same safety features and most of the electronic options. Bought a soft tonneau for it, class III hitch and put my own first aid kit, and it didn't cost $150 like the Hyundai option (🤯). Better transmission and 18" wheels that offer more offroad tire options over the 20".

Really like the Santa Cruz, it's very sharp, unique looking, too many vehicles these days look so generic.
