I love of what you do with your Pomni doll, heck I even saw a one of my friends playing in VRchat with a Pomni avatar. But the strange part is that it looks kinda similar to your doll, not too similar but it has the removable hat and some pose faces and that’s it.

Really nice doll! Has anyone ever told you your voice sounds like Kate Micucci's?

In my experience working with 40k models, you should start painting with a matte primer applied either with a spray can or an airbrush that's allowed to dry before you go in with the acrylics rather than the gesso. With large parts of the model being white or yellow, maybe a matte white to help the colors be more opaque even though light colors don't really like to be opaque lol. Very cool project, overall. I love the result.

He ended up looking so good! Very impressive how neat and uniform his faces ended up. 😲 I used to swear by gouache paint for faceups, but recently I've started using high flow acrylics and I find them a bit easier to use! More robust, too. I was scared away from acrylics for YEARS because I only knew about the heavy body kind, and they tend to be gloppy/streaky

Great project!!! Thanks for taking us on this creative journey, the process of learning while creating is something we don't get to see a lot on youtube, so this was really friendly and fun to watch!! He turned out so beautifully!

I love getting to see your process! I've recently started doing 3D modeling myself, so I love how you explain everything. Super informative, impressive, and entertaining! I'd also love to see a more in depth video on how to do ball joints 👀

Glad you like them! Uwu I’ll have to plan out properly explaining jointing and everything, it’s very finicky.
